About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

JAX BEST KEPT SECRET
Improvements continue. Bunkers are great. Greens very good and getting better. Staff is extremely cordial and professional. New railings look great and serve to deep carts where they should be.Try it you'll like it. Best practice facility in Jax. Eric Holcomb best teacher I've ever worked with.
NEEDS A LOT OF WORK
I won't play this course again. Poor course maintenance. Needs a lot of up keep. Greens and tee boxes are absolutely horrible. Don't play this course.
YOU'LL LOVE IT
Course conditions continue to improve. Bunkers are first class. Green speed is very good but not penal. Best practice facility in Jacksonville. Teaching pro Eric Holcomb is the best. Entire staff treats you to a great golfing experience. This one's a keeper.
Best Deal in town for value and condition
Greens had just been bunched but still rolled true. In great shape over all.
Shot Maker's Course!
This course is not as long as somr, but it is more challenging. It's tight fairways with either woods or water are prevalent throughout the course. A great course that has a lot of character.

Beautiful day! Greens and Fairways were in great condition and shape. Lowest 1st Nine I ever played....
Lots of on course improvements
The course was in great shape and there have been several positive improvements to the course.

Course played rather well. good condition but real dry because of the rain shortage, so hard playing service
Friendly staff good golf
We played later in the day course layout was good no sun in our face late in the day. Course in good condition greens a bit slower than usual and interesting the way the greens were growing.

Top to bottom, the staff is cordial and professional. Nice location. Bent Creek's goal is not to "satisfy the customer," it's to DELIGHT THE CUSTOMER. Play it. Great Condition
I do consider this my home course it is in great shape. I golf alot of courses in this area and by far it is in better condition. They have really been working hard all over the course, removing trees, working on the greens, re-doing sand traps. The staff is wonderful. If you need golf lessons , Eric gives the best lessons I've ever had. So go out and give it a try you won't be sorry. If you have a problem go inside the pro shop and let them know, I'm sure they will make your experience better.
VISIT BENT CREEK
Although "public," Bent Creek is my "home course," and the staff makes me feel like it's a private club with all the ameneties. Best practice facility in Jacksonville. Excellent value. Challenging yet fair. It will test you....in a good way. The clientele that plays Bent Creek is just a bunch of really fine people. Never met a stranger. Bunker renovation is under way, which will bring Bent Creek up to nearly 5 star level. Try it, you'll like it.
