Bent Creek Golf Course
About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Great Value
The practice area at this course is really set up well. Kudo's. Course was in great shape for one week post Irma. Super value.
Hurricane Survival
Even with Irma hammering the course just 4 days before, the course was in very playable condition. Not many people played, so we played it in 3 hrs.
First Timer
Dollar of dollar, this is a hidden gem in the Jacksonville area. If you don't need a fancy club house, and all that goes with it, this is your place. If you are looking for a challenge and a good time, this is perfect.
Fun course with a friendly staff!
The course was in pretty good shape except the greens were aerated within a couple of weeks. My wife and I love playing this little track with challenging holes and beautiful scenery. We will be back and would recommend to all!
Best value in jax
Not the best greens butt always in playable condition. Nice layout fun for all skill levels and tou cant beat the price!
Great facility
Always enjoy playing here. I drive 45 minutes and it's worth it. Friendly staff and great Course all the way around. Don't pass it by
Great course and challenging
Course in great shape and the greens are faster. Number 2 hole tee box need improvement especially since it's the EagleWatch hole!
excellent value
Course was in good shape. Greens were very good. Fairways good. Some of the off fairway areas need work but overall very nice. Great golfing value with challenging layout.
Great course but challenging
Wonderful course, only got to play 7 holes. We got rained out.
Well Worth It
I am in my first full year of playing golf and have been to 6 other courses in the Jax area. For me this course was a challenge, especially, to stay on the fairway and out of the water. The course appeared to be in good shape; greens rolled true and the fairways were well maintained. I played on a Sunday afternoon and we had to wait at each tee box for the groups in front of us. The young lady on the snack cart seemed to be all over the course and was very friendly. All in I would highly recommend this course and I will be back to play again very soon.
Golf Now vs Bent Creek.
On several occasions, I have noticed that the Course will still bill me or charge me even when I cancel due to rain or even show up at the scheduled Tee time. Recently, My friend & I checked in for our Tee time. PAID the $20 apiece at the course. I got home only to find out that Bent Creek has contacted "Golf Now" and communicated that I failed to show up. My credit card was bill $18 bucks....Of course it takes an act of Congress and God to get Gold Now to revers a charge/fee.
Affordable Luxury Golf
With GolfNow rounds are much more fun and affordable!
Course condition, SIMPLY MARVELOUS!!!
First time playing this course since early spring and I must say I like the modification. Eliminating several sand bunkers and improving the remaining ones is a definite plus. In addition the greens are in the best condition I have seen them in, plush and moderately fast. Was able to shoot my best round this year on this course in part to the wonderful conditions the course is currently in. I strongly suggest skipping work and heading out for a round at this course.
Road trip
Busy course. Staff very friendly. Course in good shape but layout seemed more for builder convenience rather than plan. It rained midway through and course didn't drain well at all. All in all a pretty course, fair and fun.
Always great
We always have a wonderful time at Bent Creek. Course drains well and that's good because of all the summer time showers. Have visited frequently and continue to do so. I drive 40 miles just to play golf there.
Beautiful golf course in plush condition. Saturday play was crowded and pace of play was slow. So if I had any complaint at all, it would be the ranger should have monitored several slow groups better and helped with the pace of play. The carts are smart carts so the starter can keep track of them. Should have been a asset in improving pace of play, but didn't seem to be. But it was a Saturday, and I am nitpicking a bit. Overall, loved the course. Course is gorgeous.
