Bent Creek Golf Course
About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Friendly staff good golf
We played later in the day course layout was good no sun in our face late in the day. Course in good condition greens a bit slower than usual and interesting the way the greens were growing.
PLAY BENT CREEK
The improvements continue. Bunker renovation has made a world of difference. Best practice facility in Jacksonville. Eric Holcomb is best teacher I've ever worked with. Top to bottom, the staff is cordial and professional. Nice location. Bent Creek's goal is not to "satisfy the customer," it's to DELIGHT THE CUSTOMER. Play it. You won't be disappointed....Bob Harding
Great Condition
I do consider this my home course it is in great shape. I golf alot of courses in this area and by far it is in better condition. They have really been working hard all over the course, removing trees, working on the greens, re-doing sand traps. The staff is wonderful. If you need golf lessons , Eric gives the best lessons I've ever had. So go out and give it a try you won't be sorry. If you have a problem go inside the pro shop and let them know, I'm sure they will make your experience better.
VISIT BENT CREEK
Although "public," Bent Creek is my "home course," and the staff makes me feel like it's a private club with all the ameneties. Best practice facility in Jacksonville. Excellent value. Challenging yet fair. It will test you....in a good way. The clientele that plays Bent Creek is just a bunch of really fine people. Never met a stranger. Bunker renovation is under way, which will bring Bent Creek up to nearly 5 star level. Try it, you'll like it.
Keeps on getting better
After all the trouble with the greens over the last few years, they finally seem to have it under control. Rolling true and fast like they used to when the PGA ran this place. Many other course improvements going on too like bunker removals and overhauls. Keep up the good work! I'd love to see the back tees on #18 open again. Maybe an elevated tee box?
Lots of construction
Course was under construction and lots going on course condition was poor pretty much a free for all no sense of course management groups of 2 becoming groups of 6 and nothing being done about it very frustrating
Good value
The course was under some construction but is still a pretty good layout. It was pretty backed up so it played a little slow but we had a great time and it was well worth the money.
I love the layout of this course.
I enjoyed playing this course recently. A lot of thoughts was planned out during the design of this course. The greens are true to their lines.
course was in great shape greens rolling well
great shape as usual greens was somewhat hard to read today but what a day for golf
Unsatisfactory
Took 6 hours to play 18 holes due to far too many tee times booked. The pace of play was not managed at all by any of the staff. I must say I'm never going here again and would not recommend to anyone. We were not offered anything in exchange for our obviously terrible experience.
Excellent two greens need TLC but overall excellent i love the layout and challenges as played off the gold teesi superb. Dee you again
Bent Creek
Course was in really good shape. A little wet from all the rain but held up well. Greens are in pretty good shape for this time of year. Got 18 holes in, in just under 3 hours.
Course & Equipment
The golf carts were in bad condition and falling apart. Long past their prime and should be replaced.
The Tee boxes were almost all dirt with minimal grass.
I won't be playing this course again.
Nice layout
You don't have to be long but it really helps to be straight off the tee. A few short forced carries and some nice doglegs. GO PLAY THIS COURSE!!
What Golf ⛳️ should Be!
This course is what golf should be be for all levels, fun , yet challenging. It really doesn't matter what tee you play from , you have water , marsh , & some are just aggravating, but if you golf this what you want! I Love Bent Creek as the advertisement says.... the best kept secret in Jax!
