Overall course was stellar with the exception of greens. Sand and in need of mowing made for a slow adventure in putting. But the overall course was solid.

Fun track, highly recommend.

I hadn't played here in nearly 10 years so it was basically a first-time play for me. Overall it's a very good course with a decent design, and great conditions.

SPECIAL NOTE: The course is currently overseeding so carts are limited to the rough.

Birkdale is the only course in the area that overseeds which definitely gives them an advantage this time of year when the weather is warm but the Bermuda turf of other courses is still dormant. The green luster of the fairways is very appealing and plays well. The greens were a decent speed and fairly smooth.

Pace of play was good despite being pretty busy and my tee time cost me under $30 so it's a good vaule. I look forward to playing here again soon!

Course in pretty good shape, especially considering this early in the Spring. Cart path needs work, but show me a course that doesn't. With Corona Virus scare, the bar and grill were not open. Some pre-packaged snacks and sodas available at the Golf desk area.

Course was in great shape! The greens were hard,dry, and fast. A member of our foursome can really spin the ball and he had a tough time keeping the ball on the green. I enjoyed it though because it took your putting up a notch.

The course was in a much improved condition since I played it last year.

Fairways were green and in good shape. Greens are starting to come back from the winter...just need a little work. Staff is always friendly and helpful . Thanks again!!

This is a very easy course but it becomes very difficult when you have to chip onto the greens... there are no even lies Around The Greens at all! And I guess today the people who were playing their had no idea what the word golf etiquette meant! It was difficult to play through anybody! I probably won't be back.

Course doesnt drain properly but the most fairways and greens were in great shape.The worst green was 18, which is a shame as its the last thing you remember. The cart paths are in need of desperate repair.

I highly recommend playing the course with its challenges and several unique holes. My issue is that I wear braces and the day I booked a tee time it was cart path only and the course was extremely wet in several fairways and this spoiled the experience for me. Maybe I’ll try again when I know I can avoid these issues

It was a beautiful day and a nice round. Course was in very good condition considering we have had dry weather and many courses have suffered badly.

Pace of play was decent, a tad pushed, but certainly to be expected on such a fantastic day and we had a foursome. Course marshal was nice and staff friendly.

The only very small downside to the entire round was the course had been over watered in a few areas and made it a little soggy.

Greens were really nice except for the 18th which could use some work. Definitely recommend going there to play.

Course in average condition. Not as good as a few weeks ago. Very WET - - Don't think its cause of rain, probably broken water/ sprinkler lines maybe???

Course gets lots of play, people not fixing marks on the green. It's sad that people can't take care of our golf courses.

I had not played Birkdale in 5-6 years and was not sure what to expect. The reviews were getting better.

We arrived about 45 min. early to hit some balls. We were told that they were out and would have some in about 20 min. We went to the practice area and chipped and putted. There were a few range balls on the range and it was enough to warm up a bit. Range grass only ok. Course was in pretty good shape, greens were good, medium speed. Fairways were good, grassy though a bit tight on places. Rough was wiry and in spots balls were hard to find even close to fairways. traps were in decent shape. Temp green on # 18. Young women on beverage cart very nice and personable as was the young woman in the bar. Good overall experience.

Fairways are sparse at best, one of the holes had a temporary green, they never informed us. Greens are slow and patchy. It a course we will be returning to! In fact it’s the worse course I’ve played all year. Worse part is, even with temporary green and bad fairways, they were still charging 58 .00. Not worth 15.
