Disney's Magnolia Golf Course

All the Disney courses are well kept. None of these courses are worth $125. I got a hot deal for $65. It’s worth that. I’d feel ok as high as $85. Not a penny more. It’s just blah. Boring. The Palms and LBV are much more scenic. Try those.

Ok, so I was critical of this course on an outing in Feb. just didn’t think it was to Disney standards….so we tried it again. Big change! This course has always had one of the best layouts anywhere, but conditions were great. Tee to green was in super condition, staff was fantastic. We had a great round for my birthday and would highly recommend.

Course was great. Don’t book with golf now. I booked then realized the rack rate was $30 cheaper per person and golf not charges 20% at booking. Ask the pro shop to adjust for difference they said golf now is separate they have no control. So counting the convenience fee I paid $35 mor per person. That stinks!!!

They allow other groups to tee off on the back 9.They dont care that your round is therefore interfered with.

Played the Magnolia on 10/30/21, and the course was in great shape. Shot a personal best, too, which made it even more enjoyable. Staff is always great and friendly. The pace of play was a little slow for the morning, but it wasn’t terrible. I look forward to my next round at Disney when I’m back in the area.

We older players (67-69) had a great time, but while the men could move up to the roughly 6,000 yard golds, the women had to play over 5,000 yards. In many cases, we were next to each other when teeing off. That's not fair for the average woman golfer. Having to hit driver and two 3 woods to get to the green on most par fours is asking too much. Otherwise, we loved the flora and fauna. Weather was just about right, though clouds and sprinkles appeared from time to time. I should mention the starters and cart girl (Taylor) were very friendly and helpful.

I met the "boys" to play this course. We all drove over 1 hour to get together. We teed off on time and found the course to be extremely wet from recent heavy rains. We are all seniors and usually play from designated senior tee boxes. However, cart path only on certain holes and lack of roll on tee shots eventually required us by consensus to move to the forward tees. It was a generally enjoyable day. The starter did an excellent job outlining the course and conditions. Thanks for the experience.

We booked our round at the end of August and we’re told they had just aerated the greens the week prior, so while we were nervous we still gave it a shot. For being aerated two weeks prior the greens were in really good shape and still fairly quick. There were a few greens with some patches but they strategically placed the pins away from these spots so the considerations were noticed. The tee boxes and fairways were in great shape as well and then of course your daily dose of turkeys and deer on the course
