The 18-hole Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1971. Designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore, Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort measures 6870 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 131 and a 73.7 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
The natural Florida woodlands provide a stunning backdrop to one of America's premier resort courses. Architect, Joe Lee, designed the 6,870-yard Palm with elevated tees and greens. The key ingredient, of course, was the Florida palm and he made good use of nearly every variety for aesthetic and strategic purposes. Its fairways are crafted through a pine forest of mature, natural woodlands that includes moss-dappled oak, maple and cypress trees. Palmetto scrub fills the forest floor. It boasts of more than its share of water and sand with nine water holes and 94 bunkers.
This is a perfect choice for everything from a casual round to a large group outing.

Great Layout
Enjoyed this course very much. While a couple of the fairways were a little “rough”...the greens were in great shape and very true. The Marshall was a pleasure. In fact Ed helped us out with a cart issue at 9.
Favorite Disney Course So Far
First time playing the Palms course after playing Buena Vista on Friday, this course blew it out of the water. The course was in excellent shape and the layout was really enjoyable. There was water or pretty views on most holes which I enjoy, and the greens were rolling very smooth. I would certainly play again. If I had one complaint it would be that there were twosomes and singles out on the course on a Sunday morning. I was playing in a threesome and we constantly had a twosome on our back for most of the day and on every tee box. We couldn't let them play through as we were waiting on some holes as well. They were nice, but it did bother one of my group mates who wasn't comfortable off the tee. But overall, it was an awesome day and I would certainly play again.

Surprised to see a Disney course in less than primo condition.

First tee-time of the day @ 6:54 A.M. Great way to start the day and super friendly staff.
Beautiful Day of Golf
Course condition was the best of any of the 15 courses I've played in Central Florida. Tees and fairways are plush. Greens are plush too, but a little slow for our liking. Marshal kept play moving, we finished in 4.5 hours. Course was challenging in that many holes were narrow, plenty of sand and plenty of water. Can't wait to play again!
The Palms
Great layout lots of traps that can come into play. Well manicured

Beautiful course..!!
Have had the pleasure of playing this course a few time...my favorite Disney one here, Pace of play is usually slower, but course staff did there best to get everyone through. Would recommend to play if in the area.
