About
The 18-hole Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1971. Designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore, Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort measures 6870 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 131 and a 73.7 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
The natural Florida woodlands provide a stunning backdrop to one of America's premier resort courses. Architect, Joe Lee, designed the 6,870-yard Palm with elevated tees and greens. The key ingredient, of course, was the Florida palm and he made good use of nearly every variety for aesthetic and strategic purposes. Its fairways are crafted through a pine forest of mature, natural woodlands that includes moss-dappled oak, maple and cypress trees. Palmetto scrub fills the forest floor. It boasts of more than its share of water and sand with nine water holes and 94 bunkers.
This is a perfect choice for everything from a casual round to a large group outing.

Good day 2PLay
It was a little overcast but that made it barrable for Florida weather.
Great course well maintained
Nothing more to add the course was in great shape. No rough spots. The hole positions on the green was quite challenging and liked it a lot.
Loved it!
Very good experience at the Palm Course. I have played all Disney courses as well as Tranquillo numerous times. The Palm Course has the best character. Greens were good but not great. Fairways were good but not great. This was the second time in a week that I played Palm. I went back because of the first round there....spectacular! I was not disappointed with the second round either. To everyone that reads the reviews to decide where to play, go play any of the Disney Course! They are all a great value and wonderful tracks.

Best Bang for the Buck... It's Disney Magic
Played Palms Tuesday the 12th. Fantastic golf experience. Course was in excellent condition. Fairways were running fast and smooth. They were so smooth, they were better than other Orlando courses greens. Rough was maybe 2 to 3 inches. Greens were in impeccable shape, running true, smooth, with about a 9 or 10 on a stimpmeter. The staff, as always, were very friendly and accommodating. At this time of year with very little rain and the COVID-19 thing going on, I can't say enough about how great this course is. Playing Palms again Friday, I enjoyed it that much. Don't hesitate, as I said in the title, Disney Magic!!!
Disney fell off
A couple years back I would have had no problem paying to play a Disney course. Sad it needs a little tlc to be back on top. Couple holes had some dead spots they are trying to repair. The starter wasn’t the nicest we asked if our group could play alone and not have a single player join but they said That’s not how it works here at Disney as soon as he let a lpga pro skip us and tee off and play as a single player. They just want your money if your not famous they don’t care.
Great afternoon on this course
While not the most scenic golf course recently played, the Palm course was a lovely place to spend the afternoon golfing. It was challenging but not too difficult. Greens were in great condition and played well.

Everything about this course is fantastic. The price makes it even better.
Great Escape
Couldn't pass up the opportunity to play given the lack of things to do. I was welcomed by the staff (while maintaining social distancing guidelines) and was given a cart that was wiped down and ready. Starter checked us in and we were on our way. Course is still in great shape. Greens were true (it was off and on rain most of the round) and fairways were in good shape given the lack of rain. Perfect getaway for crazy times. Had no one in front of or behind us.

Except for a hand full of tee boxes the course is fantastic a little challenging with lots of fun

Staff could not have been better and course was in great shape. The greens were awesome and rolled true. Great day out social distancing!
Love Disney Palm
This course always provides an extraordinary golf time for us! Sometimes a little pricey but we often get some reasonable deals and it is worth the extra cost. Will definitely plan again!
