Disney's Palm Golf Course
About
The 18-hole Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1971. Designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore, Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort measures 6870 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 131 and a 73.7 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
The natural Florida woodlands provide a stunning backdrop to one of America's premier resort courses. Architect, Joe Lee, designed the 6,870-yard Palm with elevated tees and greens. The key ingredient, of course, was the Florida palm and he made good use of nearly every variety for aesthetic and strategic purposes. Its fairways are crafted through a pine forest of mature, natural woodlands that includes moss-dappled oak, maple and cypress trees. Palmetto scrub fills the forest floor. It boasts of more than its share of water and sand with nine water holes and 94 bunkers.
This is a perfect choice for everything from a casual round to a large group outing.

Great layout
Really enjoyable round of golf, quite a challenge with water in play on many of the holes.the course was in very good condition, only gripe would be the pace of play but that was due to a very slow and thoughtlessly fourball in front of us
Great course and condition
Lovely course in greate shape.
Played the Blue backtee wich didnt play to long but still a challenge.
Played 70 dollars för a morning tee time and compared with other 70 dollar courses this was a great deal.
Would play here againe for sure.
Great course !!! A must play in the Orlando Kissimmee area
We were the first group out
Very friendly staff
Course is in excellent shape and is a great challenge for all levels of player
Greens were a little long so not as fast as some other area courses but balls rolled great
You won’t regret playing here
Awesome day of golf
We played in a Foursome with our neighbors and thoroughly enjoyed the impeccable course conditions. The course layout was challenging with many photo op scenes to enjoy. Greens were beautiful and fast.
Nice
Nice course. Challenging tough approach shots. Best place I've played in Florida
Well worth it.
The greens were fast. The fairways were in good condition. The golf carts had GPS which helped with blind spots and water. Great course. Will play again in March when I come back to Florida.
Love it
This is a must play. Everything about this track is excellent. There’s a reason why it’s on the PGA circuit.
Grat course when discounted
We played the course today. It was a foggy,/wet day, so did not get to appreciate the course as much as I would have if it was sunny. I am not a great player, so I found the course challenging but playable. You can't use your driver on every par four or it will end up in the water hazards or sand traps. We booked our round on Golf now so we got it at a discount, otherwise is a U$100+ round per person ( if is the average for good courses in Orlando.
Enjoyed this Disney course. Will definitely play again.
Great time on this course. Lots of water, but fairways are wide if you stay in the right side! Greens faster than I am used to, and pin positions were challenging, but they are large. Would take some getting used to which is reason to play again. Pace of play was fine with just a few waits, not very long, on the tee box and in fairways. Also, my balls fly a lot farther in Florida!
Loved it!
First time playing a Disney course, and only second day ever playing golf in Florida. We played the Palm Sunrise and were the first off the tees so pace was never an issue. The staff from top to bottom was amazing. From loading our clubs onto the cart until cleaning the clubs and unloading them. Breakfast sandwich was very tasty, and these were by far the best carts we encountered on our trip. First time playing with a GPS equipped cart so that was a big plus. We found the course amazing, but note we normally play on a muni court in Central Arkansas, and we haven’t seen green fairways in months! It was pricey, but well worth it. We will be back!
Spectacular
Greens running as fast as a bobsled. Staff was excellent in the proshop and around facilities. Special shout out to Greg the starter who ran for dogs on the turn for us so we could keep pace. A must play while in Florida.
Most enjoyable
Golf course in great condition a bit wet from the rain lately just play lift clean and place Make sure you play from the right tee Fun course to play highly recommend
Disney is always first class
The Palms is a great course. The Disney folks always treat you first class. Don't be vain and play the proper tees per your abilities or the course could play extremely long (especially the back nine) and won't be as much fun.
This is a AWSOME course!
1st you are at Disney, so of course it is pristine. 2nd the Disney courses are managed and ran by Arnold Palmer Golf Management, so you will not be let down.
The Palms course will rate within my top 10 courses played. Of course the pro shop is well stocked with Mickey and Disney options of all varieties, the staff greets you and acknowledges you everywhere you go.
The course was pristine, it could not have been better, greens hard and fast, fairways so well manicured they are better then some courses greens, and the tee boxes will allow you to pick your poison as how long and hard do you want the course to play.
The best part of this round is really 2 things, you never felt pushed or waiting on a group, and almost every green is elevated with absolutely no love for a shot that was short or long as it will run off the green and you will be chipping again, putting on these greens is an absolute pleasure.
Great course, very enjoyable, and can't wait to play it again.
