The 18-hole Lake Buena Vista Course at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1972. Designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore, Lake Buena Vista Course at Walt Disney World Resort measures 6802 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 133 and a 73 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
Styled in a classic country club setting, Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course meanders through pastel villas, pine forests, palmettos, sparkling lakes and other wonders of nature. Lush fairways and well-protected greens make this course as challenging as it is beautiful. Add an island green on the 7th, and it all tots up to a great golfing experience.

Not as nice as website indicates
Misleading website, this course condition is more like a muni course and not a resort course. Probably beciase it gets a lot of play. Fairways were dormant, hardly any grass to hit off of, bunkers were in ok shape, greens rolled fine. Biggest issue was fairways, don’t expect a nice, fluffy lie because grass is on existent.
Staff was nice: I played at 3 so paid $50. I wound be very busier if I had to pay more than that for an average course at best.
Layout is decent though and staff was really nice.
Move Duffers Along or Aside
Too often they allow newbie players who only hit the ball 20 FEEt - whenever they do hit it.
A Little Disappointed
Played LBV at Disney today for first time while family is here on a Disney Vacation. First. It’s Disney. So the customer service is outstanding. Every worker I encountered was awesome. Also, since it’s Disney it’s over priced and costs too much. The course was in good shape. But it’s not $100 plus Course in my opinion. Again, it was in good shape. (Not great). The greens were smooth and fast except for 15 which was in really bad shape. Fairways were really good. A little thin around some greens. But the layout is kinda blah. I don’t really remember one hole that stands out. A lot do straight holes. Just not a ton of character to me. Again. It’s a nice course. But being Disney it’s overpriced. I’m glad I did it once. But probably won’t do it again.
Best part of Disney is Golf
Butter turf,, greens true, Staff Walt would be proud of!
Ok choice
Course is nice but kind of blah. A lot of holes look alike but it was in good shape and the greens are nice. Staff was very nice. A bit expensive for what you get. Very noisy and busy around 1st couple of holes from Disney activities.
So noisy
Every few minutest there are Disney boats traveling through and blare their horns. It was very distracting.
DO NOT PLAY HERE
I am a disabled golfer and was treated very poorly at Lake Buena Vista. Even if you are a fully abled golfer avoid Disney golf for people like me. People with disabilities like to be treated with dignity and respect and not overpay for a course that makes golf impossible for someone like me. This could have easily been avoided.

Slow play
Loved the course but foursome in front of us was very slow and did not know how to play ready golf. Our round took a little over 4 1/2 hours but should have been 4 hours. Waited on every hole. Ranger couldn’t even move they along.
Great Course
I believe the first time I played this course was in 1992. I have not missed a single year of playing there since. The course is always in Great shape. I will be returning to Fl after the first of the year and have 3 rounds planned toward the end of Feb. 2023.
Overprice considering the quality of the course
Course is in average condition but green fee is high. I played other courses in the area in better shape for half of the price.
