Not as good as last time
Played 4 years ago and it was mint. The course was OK for condition but was rough in places. Several greens had multiple patches which were been worked on. The greens had weeds in places and recovering after aerating. Shame for a Disney Course.
Disney Way of Playing Golf
This course at Disney Lake Buena Vista is a beautiful place to play golf. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend this course.
This is a great course
This was the first time playing this course. I have payed both Disney's Magnolia and Palm course. The Lake Buena Vista course was just as challenging as those course if not more because of the narrow and tree lined fairways. Love that it goes through saratoga, old key west and the tree house villas. Even thought the course was wet from all of the rain lately, the condition of the course was in great shape. Greens were far better than the greens on Magnolia and Palm, bunkers had just been redone and were in excellent shape.
Disney says it all
I booked a round at Disney and, being a local, I expected crowds and waiting in line. There was none of that here. The staff was friendly and courteous. The tee times were spaced so that you did not feel rushed (conveyor belt style typical in central Florida) or pushed. The course was very well groomed and the off-course amenities were excellent as well. Disney, need I say more? We will definitely be back!
Great track
I really enjoyed playing this course. The layout is great and the course is player friendly. The fairways are wide enough to accommodate the average golfer and the greens are good.
Really solid course
Enjoyed my round here. Disney class all the way. Course stays in good shape all year around and makes any trip to WDW extra enjoyable. Bring your clubs and play!
Disney Magic
Course was in great shape, didn’t really expect anything else from a Disney point of view. Staff were really friendly and the course was a great test with great condition. Always great to believe in the magic for the children but Disney also takes care of the Big kids that visit the golf ccourse also.
Can’t go wrong with Disney!!
As expected great service, course was in excellent condition !!! We had an exceptional time. I will definitely play this course again!!
Great course layout but the pace of play was unbelievably slow. no Marshall to be found. sand traps were not raked and the fringes on ever green were extremely spongy
Disney Magic
LBV is the best Disney course. It has a great mix of holes. The conditions were excellent. Its challenging but fun. Big greens, generous fairways. It helps if you can shape it both ways off the tee. Very scenic through the Saratoga Resort area by Disney Springs. When I have friends or family visit, this is a course I take them too. Sometimes it’s pricey, but today was good.
Great condition
Played a late round so course was pretty wide open. Over seeding has come in nice and course is in beautiful shape. Greens were perfect and rolled true. LBV is one of my favorite courses to play in Orlando.
Could be a great course, but.....
Arriving at the course, the bag attendant took our bags and informed us where to park and where to go when we entered the club house. The people at the pro shop where very matter of fact, no real personality. We had a 7:12 tee time and we were there at 6:45. By the time we checked in and got to our cart it was almost 6:55. When we asked about the availability to hit balls the cart attendant told us that we needed to be at the starter ten minutes early in case he could get us out early. We drove to the driving range instead, only to find out that you need to purchase range balls. This is something that a course that charges over 100.00 dollars should include. When I asked the starter about it, he said "most courses charge for balls." The course itself is great. A lot of fair holes. Some long, some short. I had a rough front nine, but a great back nine. The greens are true and hold the line. I will say that people do not fix their ball marks as I found myself repairing mine plus two to three. The course should remind people to repair their ball marks. The pace of play was great, but than again we were second off for the day. We finished in 3:40 minutes.
