Best Disney Course
Awesome course. The greens were lightning fast for Orlando standards. You can't beat the local rate!
Challenging Fun.
This course is a gem. It’s challenging but fun. You need to be creative and shape shots both ways. The greens are fast, fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. Good pace of play. One of my favorites in Central Florida.
Disney course with Disney hospitality
Great course, friendly staff everything you expect from a Disney property

Country club feel. Can play wet. Pace can be an issue. Love the layout.
I want my money back!
The course conditions are good. A staff member was waiting on us in between holes 12 and 13 to ‘speed us up’ which totally screwed-up everybody in our group as we rushed the next hole...ONLY TO WAIT AGAIN AT THE NEXT TEE BOX AS WE DID ALL DAY!!! In addition, I had a $30 Disney merchandise credit that I wanted to use for a Mickey golf shirt but they refused it and said I could only use at the parks. Really? Merry Freaking Xmas!
Enjoyable layout
As a single, paired-up with visitors who spoke mostly French, but had an enjoyable round on a well- manicured and challenging layout.
Disney Disappoint
This was my first experience of playing a Disney course and I was not disappointed. From the welcome at bag drop to the final putt the enjoyment was continuous. None of the holes were outstanding visually but every hole was in great shape with greens running true and very fast. Things were a bit over-priced in the pro shop and the chip & slice grill but this does not detract from a great course.

Super layout good challenge course in excellent order. Some challenging holes that were competitive. A thoroughly enjoyable round of golf.
Great experience - course good condition-
Disney troupes to make sure you have a great experience on a well maintained gold course
Great
Course great shape , pro shop staff very professional , on course staff great and super friendly great value
Must play
Course and staff excellent. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We had a group of 8 but could only get 2 tee times on line with a group in between us. Once we got to the course they put us out together. Thanks
Just OK!
I've seen pictures of Disney courses and always dreamed of playing. Nothing special! I was a little disappointed.
Disney like
Great round of beautiful golf. Staff was tremendous. Didn’t play the best golf in my life but it wasn’t the courses fault. Lots of fun and well worth the price. Greens and fairways were wonderful.
Wet conditions = slow play
There had been lots of rain before we played. So, the course was very wet and balls plugged. We were told that, if we didn’t like the conditions after 3 holes, we could get a full refund, which was nice of them. But we soldiered on. The pace of play was slow. 5 hours. I think it was partially because of cart path only. Had this been the first time here, I would not recommend it. But I’ve played it before and know this was unusual, both wit respect to conditions and pace of play.
I shouldn't have been opened.
Due to heavy rains the previous day, the course was a giant sponge. It was cart path only and no matter where you hit the ball, it was soaken wet. No roll, ball plugged and you found yourself splattered with mud. Slow play due to cart path only, difficult to walk and just a long miserable round. Great course that should have never opened. Great way to destroy the course and irritate the golfers.

Better than Lake Buena Vista
I golf quite often at my local courses, but this was my first vacation to Disney that included golf. I played Lake Buena Vista yesterday and Magnolia today. Lake Buena Vista was hard, but their greens still have not recovered from aerations. Fortunately Magnolia's greens were in terrific shape considering then recent aeration. The course was not crowded at all (2:45 tee time) and while playing with one other stranger who was a great guy, we had all the time in the world. No one behind us. A twosome in front that were fast. The course itself is real difficult (which is great), with a lot of water features, but if you can stay relatively straight and you can drive, you should be able to post a good score as long as you keep to the fairways and greens. The only reason I rated the condition as four stars is because the course is still recovering from a hurricane that happened last week. Everything was really dry though, but there's still a good amount of debris.
Overall, Magnolia is a must play if you come down here. If you had to choose Magnolia or Lake Buena Vista, choose Magnolia. But if I were you, I would play them both.
