Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course

My son and I returned from our Orlando golf trip on Sunday, and are very disappointed with LBV! This was our # 1 course but no longer, as in a pervious review

DISAPPOINTED. The greens had just been aerated, no one told us, the fairways AGAIN no golf carts (WET) and most of the bunkers were like swimming pools but still full price. Love the layout but will not be back until someone gets it right!!

Concierge at Sheraton booked this tee time for me but when I arrived, I was told that I paid a local rate. No big deal but when I decided to pay full price. The young man behind the counter acted surprised that I was able to afford their weekend rate. Was it because I was a minority. .? The starter was pleasant but no one was out on the course managing the pace of play. We waited at least 5 min prior to each tee shot. Worst part was the greens were still healing from the aeration. It was apparently the first weekend since they aerated. Maybe that's why front desk guy was surprised I was willing to pay full price. The rest of the course was decent. Nothing special to warrant such a high fee. In the end I asked about partial refund due to lack of notice about the aeration. That was denied. Overall what stuck out for me was the sarcastic attitude of the front desk person. I would expect disney to train their people better at customer service. Isn't it supposed to be the happiest place on earth after all?

Really enjoyed the course layout overall. Was very disappointed that neither golf now nor the course ever mentioned the greens were aerated less than a week prior. I certainly would have played elsewhere. Large holes, very sandy and still charged full price to play.

One of my favorites on Disney !!

Tough time of year for Florida golf courses by Disney always keep them up. Glad to play here anytime. You never have to wonder what it's going to be like

Great course I still miss Disney Osprey Ridge

To say I enjoyed this course is a understatement! Fairway were awesome! Greens were fast! Aesthetically a beautiful course! Technical and fair! Want to thank Chris, Russ and the other gentleman ( I didn't catch his name) for being professional and helpful!! I highly recommend this course if you like to play a great course!!

From the very beginning I encountered very professional and friendly staff. They were very helpful and answered all question. The course was great and in very good condition. This was my first time at LBV and I have golfed at Oak Trial twice. Disney has done a great job.

Took a cart, only course we could not drive on the fairways, which make play take longer, yet we kept getting warnings about pace of play. Hard to keep moving at a good clip when you have to go back and forth from your ball to the cart. second year in a row no carts on the fairways. Too bad cause it is a good course. Not much of a 19th hole for beverages after your round. They have a snack shop by club house.

This was an early Saturday morning. I've played it many times. Generally with the kind of rain that we get here this course is sometimes very wet, but not this time. Due to the extreme heat in central Florida the course was dry and fast. The greens were running at about a 10 or 11 and in excellent condition. The price was great. Don't hesitate, you'll love it.

withall included this was a great way to start the Disney or not day.

Recommend this for any golfer, club fee rentals were excellent value and clubs were in very good shape.

I've noticed all 3 WDW courses are always wet and mucky and need drainage work. Greens were punched 3 weeks ago I think but still very bumpy. Hence the $39 fee on Sunday morning. If you did not pick your irons perfect in fairways you you got mud.

Really enjoyed the course layout. However, the greens had been aeriated and we were not aware of this when making our tee time. They did give us a discount due to the greens not being 100%. Overall I would recommend this course.

Aerated Greens! Golf now forgot to tell me this! 2 hr + front nine third group out. 4some/2some/4some C'mon Man!

The greens were recently punched which of course was not indicated on golf now. The fringe around the greens is pretty beat up on a bunch of holes but otherwise the course is in decent condition. The layout is great with multiple memorable holes, especially on the front nine. Teed of at 7:30 so pace of play was great but course can get real slow if you tee off later.

It's been a few years since I played here and I regret how long I stayed away.

With several sets of tees, everyone can find a fair test. It was great to play a course where the cart paths were smooth, the staff professional and friendly, and the conditions excellent.

The landing areas are large but the greens challenge; fast and undulating. I loved it!

Only played back nine before. We wound up playing 27 that day.

Booked this time through GolfNow and when we got to the course we learned that the entire course was booked for a shotgun start tournament. I guess they felt that they could squeeze a few more groups onto the course around the tournament but I wish they didn't. The pace of play was way to slow. We had to wait for the group in front of us on every single shot. When I tee off at 1:28pm on a weekday I expect to move quickly. I think they should have mentioned the tournament before we booked the non-refundable round.

The course conditions were fine. Better than many other nearby courses but not magnificent as you might expect from Disney. No drink cart on the course even though it was full of golfers, and several of the on course drinking fountains were not working. Not good on a 92 degree Florida afternoon.

Fun track that isnt your typical resort style course. Greens were good for this time of year. Not too fast and a little bumpy in spots, but for as much play as Disney gets they were in pretty good shape. I would defintely reccommend playing here.
