LBV is the best.
From tee box to green on all holes-perfect. Greens are true and fast. Fairways-the best in Orlando area. Tee boxes-manicured to perfection.
True Disney experience
Course has a nice track. Greens roll true. Bunkers are real sand. Just has a good vibe on the course.
Great course
Great course . Love playing here .good conditions . Staff where all good except for guy in pro shop .
Disneys LBV is magical
The course is in excellent condition. The Bermuda fairways are pristine and spongy under your feet. The spacing was perfect .. on a busy Sunday afternoon we were not pushed, and did not push any groups. Loved this course, and will definitely be back .. soon!
Great place to play
A holiday in Orlando would not be complete without playing Disney lake buena vista golf course
Always in great condition
Can't wait to go back
Awesome layout with great features
1st time playing this course, friendly staff lots of help everything was all that I've heard about this course and more great day. Would recommend it if you have a chance to play it.
It doesn't get any better than this
Second visit to LBV and remembered the first visit was memorable. Again, we weren't disappointed. Great welcome from the pro shop and then off to the first tee early! Starter was very welcoming and got us off nice and early. Course condition was excellent. The greens were quick but good. Fairways were a dream. I am not saying it was easy because it wasn't. There was plenty of difficulty with bunkers strategically placed and they were pretty big so you needed to plan getting out of them with the right type of shot otherwise your next shot was still in the bunker!!
Loved the course, and we got around in just under 4 hours. Speed of play was great up until the last couple of holes where we caught up with the 2 ball ahead. Only worry was there was no beverage cart. There was a lady on the first tee selling sodas etc but we weren't aware she didn't come around the course. We were starving when we finished and luckily we had plenty of water with us. Had we known we would have bought snacks prior to the round. Not complaining and it didn't ruin what was a fantastic round of golf.
My favorite Disney course
I've played all 3 Disney courses and this is definitely my favorite. This is a must play in the winter time. The only drawback during the summer is the course does not drain well and this becomes a problem with afternoon rain showers. The pace of play today was great. Tee'd off at 1115 and had the course to myself. The course offers many different challenges and a few scenic holes. The course is in great condition from tees to greens. Can't wait to play here again.
Great Track, Great Conditions
Everything was in great shape. The greens were decently quick and extremely soft at the same time. Played at 11:00 am and finished 18 as a pair in just over 3 hours. It was fantastic pace of play.
Great Layout
Had a great experience on the LBV course on 9/30. Although it was a little wet with all the rain, course in great shape!
Good value
Good value for the money. Course does get backed up and because it is Disney, no rangers to tell people to move along--wouldn't want to upset a guest!
S-L-O-W...
Fun course, nice staff...but sloooooow play. I get that this is a tourist course and there's gonna be bad golfers...but be bad quickly. Yikes. It took us 2:50 to play 9. Out of desperation I sent a "message" on the golf cart looking for a ranger at the 10th tee. All we got was a shrug and a "not much we can do". Took us nearly 5:00 to play 18. Unacceptable, especially after getting the "you'll go around in 4:30 or else" lecture on the 1st tee. I'd play here again...on a weekday. On the bright side...it is a nice track. Kinda challenging. Worth the time if you're in Touristville, Florida.
Construction and noise!!!
Overall this is a fun course that is well maintained. Careful though, any ball outside the fairway tends to end up in very thick grass that is unforgiving. It is not uncommon to add 2 clubs just to make up for the buried lies. Also give yourself plenty of time to get here, our gps took us to the downtown Disney parking lot making us about 10 min late. The current construction makes it very confusing to get to the course. If you are bothered by loud noise (jackhammers, heavy trucks, loud banging) I would recomend playing a different course until the they have finished the highway that is adjacent to the course.
Staff was very kind but "everyone" seemed to be pushing really hard for tips. Oh and be prepared to say "no" about a dozen times to the beverage cart girl as she tries really hard to oversell you the pre-made deli sandwiches. Better yet, go there hungry and buy the sandwich because they hardly accept "no" for an answer.
LBV - Good layout, very wet and long
We played LBV on a Tuesday late morning after the previous days rain. The course was very wet, every tee shot plugged or rolled out about a foot. Prior to every shot, the ball had mud on it and had to be cleaned. This slowed down play a little, but since we were waiting for two foursomes in front of us, this made for nearly a 5 hour round. The course is a nice layout with a good variety of holes both short and long. The greens were putting good, even with some sand on them. The overall wet conditions made the course play really long with no roll out and bump and run shots were not even possible around the greens. GN coupon still had round costs at nearly $70, a little high for the conditions and speed of play. Would like to play it when its dried out. Hospitality was very good (Disney, of course). Weather temps were very hot and humid, they had No roaming cart with drinks or snacks, only a table at turn, quite expensive (did I mention Disney?) drinks and snacks.
Fun Course but Disney Food
Only a snack bar outside no place like a clubhouse after round to sit in a/c and relaxe which is a huge miss. Course was cart path only and still great despite all the rain. It's Disney so bland institutional food options so go offsite to eat
Fun Course to Play
Disney always does an excellent job of maintaining their courses and facilities. The greens were in excellent shape as were the fairways.
Even for a resort course, the pace of play was around 4 hours.
Not only was it a great course, it was fun to play as well.
friendieliest place on turf
One of the best courses we have ever played on just amazing greens and fairways....aandthe staff is just too notch it's Disney lol....but the only complaint is that there was no drink cart girl roaming or stationary out on the course....after we read that there would be....only place the cart girl was at the turn.....that's the only complaint....but will be coming back and recommend lake Buena Vista a must play....Mickey keep up the maagjc love it!!!
Disney's golf
We had a good day. It was cart path only on seven holes which added to time. It gives all kinds of shots so you are not always playing driver wedge. The greens were great and rolled out great. Very fast and true.
Need to play this course before price increase in the Fall.
Disney courses are always in top notch condition. This one is no exception. For Florida residents, play the course before the tourist season starts in the Fall.
Not good value at this time of year
The greens were slow , and after rain the night before we had to keep the cart on the paths, which did not help the experience.
