Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course

Aerated Greens! Golf now forgot to tell me this! 2 hr + front nine third group out. 4some/2some/4some C'mon Man!

The greens were recently punched which of course was not indicated on golf now. The fringe around the greens is pretty beat up on a bunch of holes but otherwise the course is in decent condition. The layout is great with multiple memorable holes, especially on the front nine. Teed of at 7:30 so pace of play was great but course can get real slow if you tee off later.

It's been a few years since I played here and I regret how long I stayed away.

With several sets of tees, everyone can find a fair test. It was great to play a course where the cart paths were smooth, the staff professional and friendly, and the conditions excellent.

The landing areas are large but the greens challenge; fast and undulating. I loved it!

Only played back nine before. We wound up playing 27 that day.

Booked this time through GolfNow and when we got to the course we learned that the entire course was booked for a shotgun start tournament. I guess they felt that they could squeeze a few more groups onto the course around the tournament but I wish they didn't. The pace of play was way to slow. We had to wait for the group in front of us on every single shot. When I tee off at 1:28pm on a weekday I expect to move quickly. I think they should have mentioned the tournament before we booked the non-refundable round.

The course conditions were fine. Better than many other nearby courses but not magnificent as you might expect from Disney. No drink cart on the course even though it was full of golfers, and several of the on course drinking fountains were not working. Not good on a 92 degree Florida afternoon.

Fun track that isnt your typical resort style course. Greens were good for this time of year. Not too fast and a little bumpy in spots, but for as much play as Disney gets they were in pretty good shape. I would defintely reccommend playing here.

Played 18, course overall in good shape. Some brown spots/thin in fairways but not many, don't remember any on greens. Course in very good shape for a public course. Green were fast and smooth. Only course issue was the bunkers, very wet and hard packed but we haven't had rain in several days - just inattentive watering or worse not caring. Wasn't anyone waiting at cart return which saved me a dollar or two. All in all, I will play again.

Fairways, rough great shape. Greens were excellent.

Need better consideration for the handicapped. I have a breathing issue and would like to be able to get closer to the green .

We played LBV the morning before we flew home. That was some more fun than going "power shopping" with our much better halves.

We had a pretty good thunderstorm during the night so all play was from the cart path, but GPS units were very helpful in determining distance so club selection wasn't an issue.

The fairways were spotty and browned out on some holes. Most greens were in good shape but not all. It had rained for a few days prior, but it appeared as if the course doesn't drain well.

Lake Buena Vista is a wonderful facility. Beautiful clubhouse and pro shop. Driving range is huge with water in front. Putting green is very nice. Course layout is nice with some beautiful holes. Overall I would recommend this course. Have fun!

As with everything Disney, I went into the playing of this round with high expectations but wow was I let down. Right from the get go my experience at LBV was a tremendous letdown. I went into the clubhouse to pay and after that I headed out back to my cart only to find out there that range balls were not included. I had to make my way back into the pro shop and stand in line for another 10 minutes just to pay for range balls. After the range I headed to the first tee for, ten minutes early for my time. Playing as a single, I was told by the pro shop that there were three more with me. The started informed me at the tee that two of them went off the back and no one knew where the other person was. I watched a twosome go off for the tee time in front of me and my telling the starter that I was tight on time and had a plane to catch did not urge him to put me with the twosome. Instead, I went off late because he wanted to put me with the three people who had the time after mine. This greatly slowed down my round and I left the other three on the 15th tee and went on alone as we had fallen so far behind the twosome I never caught them on the last three holes playing as a single. As for the condition of the course, that too was a tremendous letdown with chewed up tee boxes, burnt our fairways and sanded spots on several of the greens. Luckily, I went through GolfNow and got a discount that was intune with the course conditions. If I was someone who paid over $100 to play today, I would have been outraged. In it’s current state I would not recommend this course to anyone who wants to play a premier course in the Orlando area, there are too many other great courses such as Orange County National, Grand Cypress, Waldorf Astoria, Reunion and others that you can play for about the same price and get a much better experience. Sadly, this was the last Disney course I needed to play to finish the WDW trifecta and I honestly wish I had never played it.

We love this course. I would recommend this to anyone visiting. If you can vary your tee times you can usually get a good rate but it's worth the cost.

This course has great features

We played the course a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it so much we went back again
During this time we also played Disney's Palm and Magnolia , and this was the pick of them. Definitely the best greens by quite along way.
The only downside is the friendliness off the staff in the pro shop ... they are not!!

Greens were firm and fast with plenty of grass. Like most resort courses ball marks and divots are not repaired by the players. At Disney you always expect the little extras and attention to detail. However, the range had no club cleaning equipment and trash was spilling out of the receptical. Staff was awesome! GPS state of the art. Pace of play was excellent.

After some good showers the past few days, the greens played tricks on our foursome speed seem to vary from hole to hole. All in all this is a very good track. took a little longer to play because of the foursome ahead of us where's the marshals when needed.

Excellent amenities. They pay attention to details. I like it very much!

Great course for a round of golf. Very well maintained course and very friendly staff. Totally recommend

When you go to a Disney course you know what to expect from the clubhouse to the course conditions. I can't remember if/when I've had a major complaint when playing there. The only complaint I've had in the past is an inconsiderate golf group or two,which isn't the course's fault. Play with confidence that you have booked an enjoyable day of golf. What, you wouldn't trust a mouse?
