The Country Club of Mount Dora

Played the course todaybl it's been a while. Had a great round there some areas that still need improvements. The tee boxes need improvement on every hole. The greens were decent and bunkers okay. I would recommend playing the course but management needs to work on keeping the fairways looking good and Tee boxes. The condition their in now could easliy get worse.

Well worth the drive and cost. Course in great shape, friendly staff, good range, good food.

This course was a bit out of town for me but it was worth the drive. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and asked genuine questions about my thoughts of the course. The greens all rolled true and the fairways and tees were in good shape.

All in all in decent shape - some dry areas which, hopefully, will be gone soon once we get some rain.

Greens are smooth, not overly fast - very playable.

Nicely laid out course with good positioning of water hazards. Bunkers need more sand very hard when I played.

Great to be teamed up with a lovely couple from Sorrento who had local knowledge of the course to point out the pitfalls.

Bad point pace of play. 4.5 hours My home course of the same yardage walking 3 ball around 3 hours. Course needs a ranger to stop the slow play.

Good point. Halfway house was open.

It’s nice to be able to hit a golf ball off grass. Refreshing! So many courses around are feeling the effects of a lack of rain. Lots of doglegs and sand traps, but not a lot of water. Course management will serve you well. Staff was very helpful and our meal after our round was tasty. We’ll be back!

Well designed course that is not too long for most golfers. Months of dry weather has stressed some tees and fairway areas to an extent, but the course is still very playable. Several hidden hazard areas come into play that require caution if you are playing this course for the first time. Overall, a nice experience.

The course is in great shape for this time of year. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars is the bunkers. They aren’t bad, but they are getting low on sand or need to be worked.

The staff is friendly. The starter does a good job of keeping the groups on time and the ranger attempts to keep play moving.

Played several times over past few weeks. Really like the layout and conditions have always been great. Rated pace on this round lower as it was 4.5hr plus round. We were cautioned that the pace would be slow by the starter so appreciated that.

If you can get the discount rate, it makes an even better experience. Definitely will ply again.

Challenging course with lots of water, interesting layout with variety of holes.

Greens were in good shape,and good pace.

Sand traps strategically placed, making you think how to avoid them.

Although I lost some balls in the water due to run off,I really enjoyed this course and would look forward to playing it again knowing the layout.

Everything that people could control made this experience really pleasurable! I reserved two More Tee times during my visit😃. This course is challenging with a few holes having unpredictable dog legs. Water and narrow play challenges your skill on several holes. It is well maintained considering the lack of rain!! Greens are 4 star fast but need the challenge of reading for breaks. Tee boxes and fairways need grass seed.
