The course was in very nice shape and had some nice challenging holes. Pace of play was about 30 minutes longer than expected.

You really need to shave down the grass on the tee boxes. It is too high and tee disappears. It makes a visual difference and can affect shot off the tee.

First time playing this course and made the fatal mistake of trying to “over power” this course. This course is tight and lots of water. Next time I will throttle back and play to hit the fairways. Errant drives here will kill your scores as for the most part there is no recovery other then penalty strokes. Maybe it was just the day or me, but almost every hole seemed longer then what the card stated. I was consistently coming up short all day and the few times I tried to correct I was long. Needless to say I didn’t have a banner day, however I will be back to try it again.

We were lucky that it seemed a quiet day. They let us off a bit early and we sailed around in 3 hours, staff here is always really friendly and tries to please .Greens we’re running slow and likely needed a closer cut but the course is in very good shape.

Our round started with a surprise...we could only play the front nine twice due to seeding. This was not the way we wanted to play, and I would have preferred to leave at that point, but we had already paid in advance. The pace of play and conditions were good, but the course is quite uninteresting compared to other area courses, and having to play those holes twice made it worse. We have no intention of returning back here.

Review the fine print when you purchase The course was in very good condition and we enjoyed our day. I did not read the fine print when I signed up for the course as they only had nine holes open due to over seeding the other nine. Pace of play was outstanding we played the back nine twice and finished in three hours and 15 minutes. We will definitely return and play the course again.

There was groups playing some kind of best ball each hitting (2) shots of tee. Than taking forever hunting for balls. They had (4) carts running in different directions. The starter finally came around said they only had couple holes left but that didn’t happen until we said something. We have played this course for years from college park. But we all agreed this was the last time we will make the trip.

Quirky range, but it works. Halfway house closed, without notice. Bring ur own food!

What an absolute blast it was to play this course today, after last playing it 5 years or so ago! I've always enjoyed playing this course over the years, but today's visit topped all others. The course is in FANTASTIC condition, from tee to green. Tee boxes are nicely mowed, fairways are well manicured and the greens are what you would expect from a 5-star course. I couldn't be happier to have made the almost 1-hour drive for what turned out to be a real treat (CCMD always is). While playing, I happened to have a quick chat with one of their very friendly groundskeepers, Daniel. He beamed with pride as he explained to me how happy he and his team were to take such care of course for our pleasure. What a concept! People who find pleasure in making their patrons happy! If only other courses would look and learn about how to run a first-class course for the pleasure of their patrons. Thanks for an awesome day, CCMD! Will definitely be visiting more often. Needless to say, I very highly recommend this course!

Greens were PERFECT. Course in good shape. Pace of play was the worst. Scramble on a Sunday morning held the hole course up. Rangers don’t understand that you drive the course backwards to see where the hold up is. No mention of of a scramble. Be up front up front. Don’t hide anything, let people know that you (club) messed up in the first place. Not putting a person on the 11th hole to help people find their balls is poor management. Ranger should have been on the backside the whole time to let the scramblers know they are here for fun and a charity however it there are regular players behind you so you still have to have playing etiquette. Ruined the day for probably 50+ people. Not a good look folks. You know the deal, this course has been around a long time and should know that. Will come back however will confirm at the Pro Shop what the pace of play is and ask up front “what are you doing about it. 6 groups on a par 4?
