Royal Oaks Golf Club
About
The brilliant Terry LaGree design harmonizes with spectacular scenery to create Royal Oaks -- a unique and picturesque course. Powder sand bunkers dot undulating fairways lined by stately oaks and shimmering water. The course, part of the Audubon system, has preserved mature trees and native vegetation, making it a sanctuary for migratory birds and an unmatched setting for your game. The 6,650-yard par 72 course features four tee boxes on every hole. The front nine is characterized by rolling fairways with up to 35-foot elevation changes, lined with tall Slash Pines and Blue Jack Oaks. The back nine features an open meadow appearance with stands of stately live oaks shading some of the greens. Generous landing areas reward well-placed shots.

Great course
This is a great course, the conditions and layout are awesome. The staff is very friendly too.
great course
Greens were amazing for off-season Florida. Fairways were good. Pace of play was great. Very good value for the money and definitely on my return list
Royal Oaks Golf Club
The fairways had ample grass fairways through-out the course and the greens rolled well and were great. Some tee boxes had not had any attention for many months and some entry areas from the tee boxes to the fairways were rutted and gully like, which could be easily corrected and without too much cost. The sand traps were in good places to make course management a key component of the round. I will bring my wife for the next visit.
I will not be back
I think the course is good not great
The staff inside need customers service training
And don’t send out every 7 minutes makes for a long day ( 4 1/2 hr )
Fun course
Had a very enjoyable round here. Good mix of holes, great fairways, beautiful course. Well maintained. Lots of tree lined fairways..need to hit straight to avoid trouble. Good pace of play except for the last 6 holes..caught a 4 some playing best ball that were slow on the green..not terrible and it was a nice day!! Will be back!
Great experience
From the moment I arrived, everyone was pleasant. Very courteous staff in the pro shop and great starter. The course layout was challenging and course conditions impeccable! I highly recommend this course to players of all levels and consider it a great value for the price. I look forward to returning to play again.
Great speed on the greens and a traditional tree-lined tight course. It was a good challenge. Shots in the fairway rewarded. Overall a nice experience.
Course in excellent shape, great elevation changes.
Greens reasonably fast at 9.5-10
Overall an awesome treat and challenging layout.
A must-play course
March Golf
Nice place to play, and reasonably priced !!
The ones I played with mentioned it was a little rough the last couple weeks, but recently got plenty of rain to help get it back up to par.
Outrageous policy
Only review we have for this course is about management. Never did get to play so cant speak about course conditions. We showed up to play our round on Wednesday morning went to check in and were told that we would have to pay an additional greens fee for a 2nd cart. My 7yo son was with me and he doesn't play and for him to ride would be an additional $40. That is absolutely ridiculous. I've payed a $5 rider fee a handful of times and a $10 rider fee before but a whole additional greens fee if absurd. First impression was horrible and that was enough for me.
Rain Hampered
Had rain the entire night before we played. Greens were much slower than they looked. My guess is because they could not cut due to wet conditions. Looking forward to playing when conditions are dry and greens cut.
