Twin Rivers Golf Club

I’ve played this course a lot in the past, but never have I played that slow. It was almost a six hour round. There were at least two if not 3+ groups on each hole at any given point in time during the round, and the Rangers did nothing to improve pace of play.

Very slow beginning of round - had to wait on EVERY shot. Course allowed a group of 5 out of ahead of us. Once the rain came through we were able to pass the group as they stopped at the turn.

Back nine went very well

I have moved up to the tees just behind the reds and can now feel more comfortable with the layout. It is quite difficult to play well and certainly not for a beginner. The conditions are okay but some greens are weedy which annoys me a bit. Pretty much jungle conditions just off the rough so finding balls difficult and dangerous. Some water to carry and alligators are present. I'd say try it you might like it, though it is only 15 minutes from my house, I only play it maybe 4 times a year

Course was in good shape with the exception of some tee boxes that needed attention. Also, greens were pretty fuzzy and slow. Pace was fair but course was fairly busy. Not an easy course if you’re a higher handicapper…the other 3 I played with must’ve lost a total of 2 dozen or more balls. It was a long day.

The starter Chuck is a very personable and friendly fella. Young fella in pro shop was friendly and helpful as well. Nice to start a round in a good frame of mind. Course layout is brilliant. There wasn't a hole I didn't like. A couple of tricky par 5's. Fairways and bunkers were in great condition. I didn't have a bad lie anywhere. Greens are nice as well, but there were a few weeds here and there. I hear there getting redone in the future. A good and fun challenge from white tees. Carts are in very good condition and they have a rain canopy which is handy. Pace of play was great on front 9, and slower on back, but there was a Marshall and he helped speed things along.

First time playing Twin Rivers. Very friendly place, decent course. Only slight gripe is that the greens could be a little less patchy. Other than that it’s a course that provides a fair challenge and value for money!!

Garbage cans on holes would be nice. Nice track. Hard course but very fun.

Lack of rainfall has apparently contributed to some sparse conditions on tee boxes. Fairways and greens were good; greens could have been a little quicker, but rolled well. Nice undulation, and some elevated and bunker protected greens required accurate approach shots. Ranger was friendly and helpful; beverage cart lady was efficiently making her rounds and cordially provided ice. My partner and I played as a 2-some as the other 2 didn’t show. First time playing with this gent who was a true gentleman who made my round so enjoyable! We found a couple dozen balls, obviously a testament to the necessity of accuracy on this tight, but aesthetically appealing course. When back in the Orlando area, I’d definitely play the course again.

Twin Rivers is a great track. Reminds me of the courses back home in Ontario. Conditions were outstanding and the greens were in very good shape.

Very challenging course, fairly good condition considering how dry Florida is. The course appears to be taking care of the bunkers and greens and tea boxes with lots of employees managing course conditions.
