Twin Rivers Golf Club
About
At Twin Rivers Golf Club experience a course that combines the natural beauty of Florida with a consistent test of shot-making abilities. Nestled between two rivers this golf club offers eighteen unique and challenging holes surrounded by environmentally protected areas.
The fairways are well defined, and the greens, surrounded by mounds and pairs or trios of large bloomy bunkers, provide ample targets. Most holes encourage the player to favor one side of the fairway or green over the other, steering away from large and obvious hazards such as lakes, trees, or the large, flat bunkers.
All of this adds up to a very nice and playable course that tips out at only 6,636 yards and thus, due particularly to the price, is a first page recommendation for those seeking public golf in Orlando.

not easy
not for high handicap golfers...players struggling leading to a very slow pace. Greens were very slow and several had issues. Very pock marked / nobody fixing their ball marks which is a true shame because this is a good track.
Poor Staff & Grounds Conditions
I previously saw a review complaining about people that book on GN. And he was correct. They absolutely were rude to me and my playing partner. The starter point blank said you booked on GN for 10:32, as a foursome, and you have to go off at exactly that time. I got to the course at 09:30 and no one had teed off between then. Without a question the most inconsiderate staff l have ever dealt with. Now the course… the cart was ok. No GPS or USB connection. The driving range was closed (l was told not unusual). The practice green was a little beat up. The tee boxes were 50/50. The fairways were very wet. Constantly forced to clean clumps of mud off my ball. The bunkers were in good shape. The greens were also 50/50. Definitely patchy. All in all it’s a great layout, but between the staff and the course conditions, l don’t think I’ll go back. The best hole (lMHO) was the Par 3 - 7th. 150’ish over the river, to an elevated green.
Great Round
Definitely like to play Twin Rivers — great layout, and friendly staff.
Overall I’m very happy with how the ownership with the City of Oviedo has improved this course.
Sandtraps are are in great shape (yes, I spent some time there), and “most” of the greens are in good condition. There are a few greens that really need some improvement, due to bare patches.
Reliable venue
Been playing here for over a year. Conditions getting better every time! Always Friendly staff tough course and maintained very well considering soggy location. Very scenic! Would love to see upgraded carts and beverage cart everyafternoon
I have played there many times this is the first time that they charge me $20 extra to have my own golf cart I think that is insane
I will not play there anymore
Nice staff
Greens need work
Layout is nice
Staffing is friendly
Nice layout great staff
Great staff super friendly
Instructor Kim great guy
Cart path only due to heavy rain day prior
Played afternoon round in 3 hours
The only reason I rated a little lower is because course was really wet.
Staff Treatment
I booked this through GolfNow and was treated much different when arriving than if I booked through the course directly (which I usually do). I was punished for using Golf Now and literally told that by the Pro (Kim). There were 3 of us and were told we had to pair up with a 4th, which is completely fine. However, they were forcing this random person into the cart with us, or we had to pay a $20 fee. The Starter forced my player to pay the $20 in full, instead of splitting with the single being added to our group. After the round I spoke with Kim (the pro) and was told that if I booked the round directly with them, they would have waived the fee, but because I used GolfNow, we had to pay that $20 because they make NO money off our round. I find that hard to believe. He also slipped up and told me it cost them $5 to send out an extra cart. But they charged us $20!!! So in the midst of a pandemic they are making a 300% profit off their customer's insecurities to sit in a cart for 4 hours with a person they have no clue where they have been. Come to find out, our random 4th just flew in from NC and was out on the town last night bar hoping. I would recommend GolfNow contact the Pro at Twin because they are giving you a bad name. Literally punishing customers for using GolfNow... not a partnership I am sure you guys want. I would love someone from GolfNow to contact me and let me know they have read this review. I have played Twin Rivers over 500 times in my life, estimating about $20k in cost... this is how I got treated... all because I used GolfNow.
Trending the wrong way
I’ve played TR for years now but it seems to be getting worse as time goes on. Greens are like putting on carpet with a lot of bald spots. Rough is getting out of hand with crab grass as well. Pretty much a “get what you pay for” kind of course.
Greens are not good
I love this course. The layout is great. Challenging, but the condition of the greens is not good.
A great day
A GREAT GOLF COURSE. SOME TIGHT FAIRWAYS AND SOME CHALLENGING HOLES. GREENS WERE A BIT SLOW
