At Twin Rivers Golf Club experience a course that combines the natural beauty of Florida with a consistent test of shot-making abilities. Nestled between two rivers this golf club offers eighteen unique and challenging holes surrounded by environmentally protected areas.
The fairways are well defined, and the greens, surrounded by mounds and pairs or trios of large bloomy bunkers, provide ample targets. Most holes encourage the player to favor one side of the fairway or green over the other, steering away from large and obvious hazards such as lakes, trees, or the large, flat bunkers.
All of this adds up to a very nice and playable course that tips out at only 6,636 yards and thus, due particularly to the price, is a first page recommendation for those seeking public golf in Orlando.

GREAT COURSE
GREAT CONDITIONS, GREAT COURSE LOVE THE CHALLENGE EVERYTIME I PLAY IT
Great Track but NO Aerating Notice
I’ve played this course twice this year and the fairways & tee boxes have been in very good shape - the design is a lot of fun to play but challenging enough to keep you focused. Yet, I was disappointed to get to the green on hole 1 before I found out they were aerating the greens. That should be: 1- posted with the tee time info (or shared verbally the phone if booking by phone) and 2- the clubhouse rep AND starter should mention it… Learning of it once on the green is simply disappointing, if not misleading.
First Time
Booked via GOLFNOW hot deal. Easy drive (1 hr) from The Villages. Very busy on Sat morn had to park on the overflow lawn. Easy check in. Paid $20 to ride alone. Reasonable. The starter paired me with a twosome and a single and we went off earlier than my 10:26 tee time. The 3 golfers I played with are locals and play Twin Rivers regularly. They remarked at how good the course is now. I AGREE! #7 par 3 & #17 par 5 require a strong commitment to your club selection, I have player 75 courses outside of The Villages and Twin Rivers ranks as my #34 out of 75. Enjoy!
Sandy greens. Summerstime
I booked through tee off. I wish they would put it on website that they arreated the greens. Putting on sandy green is not fun. I’d rather pay more money for better greens. Next time call the pro shop and ask the condition of the greens.
Great course
I would go back again and again , just not when they are re doing the greens like today or just about any course for that matter.
A fun course
The course was very nice. They had just aerated the greens so the putting wasn’t great. The fairways were in very good shape. The bunkers were well groomed. We’d go back but would check on the greens before we booked again.

Aerated greens
Great round, but no notice of aeration on greens. Had to play front twice. Nice staff. Going to be great when the greens come back!
Great course with great conditions.
Spent 1 1/2 weeks at my son’s place in central Florida and played several courses on the area and one at New Smyrna. This was by far in the best condition of the courses I’ve played. Excellent fairways and greens. Still a tough course but a welcome challenge to play. Would play it again anytime. Great track!
Slow pace
The pace was slow. Also there was people in front of us in the back nine that suddenly appeared.

Pace Of Play Is Awful
Love the course, but 5+ hour rounds are becoming all too common here. 5:20 for today’s round. They really need to get a ranger out there to speed things up. I’ll be taking a break from this course for awhile and hope things improve in the future.
