Viera East Golf Club

Fairways are wide with no blind tee shots verforgiving do not let the water scare you as it only y comes into play on a few holes. A fairly easy design makes for good scoring. Course is well manicured but is drying out because of the drought florida us presently experiencing. Will play again soon

So 10am on a Monday tee time waited 20 mins on 3rd tee. Come to find out there were two groups of two (not paired up) course was baked weeds everywhere just nowhere the condition it needs to be in to warrant the 60.00 price. There are many courses cheaper in better condition within distance. This course is a wonderful layout and lovely to play when it is in the better condition. So maybe in a year or so it will be better.

Good course, friendly design, great service from starter and pro shop, nice range, full service restaurant , reasonable green fees good greens, a bit dry but it's the season other than that nice afternoon and good golf will be back.

Sunday 4 pm tee time. Third round in recent weeks. NOT a ranger in sight. We are a twosome.

First 4 holes go quickly.

We come upon 2 members, waiting on a single golfer with 2 toddlers running around, waiting for a foursome of exceptionally slow golfers.

2:15 hrs later we finished the front 9 in 90* heat.

Single couldn’t press the slow group because he was babysitting. Twosome in front of us decided to quit after 9 holes and saw no point in advancing their position.

No ranger. No one in clubhouse.

I’ll golf Viera every 5 days in the winter with a group. They can kiss my thousand$ goodbye.

This course could be so much better. Layout is OK. Fairways are wide open. Pace of play on a Saturday morning was a bit slow. 4 1/2 hrs. My biggest gripe… the sand is 1/2 deep and then You get to compacted sand. Club bounce etc is the result. Seriously. For the price you’d think they would groom and add sand. Lots of grass that is poorly watered resulting in hard pan or simply dirt.

Not my favorite course.

Everything about this course is darn near perfect except for pace of play, I’ve been here multiple times and never run into issues with pace of play but certain days the starter is “squeezing” in people who are late for their tee times which cause a backup and then the Marshall just rides around the course giving no direction to groups with slow play. I also regularly see the cart girl on hole 1 tee box, hole 9 green, and maybe on the back nine at some point but typically not, losing money in this area because our group was begging for drinks to show up and there was no need to really bug anything from the cart girl when we only saw her right next to the clubhouse.

Viera is a fun layout in good condition. Greens are fast

With 7 minute tee times, it has to be a slow round.

I saw rangers but they said the whole course was backed up. Greens are good and fast. Range is nice.

Everything about the course was very good. Our only complaint was they allowed a fivesome play in front of us. Worse than that was every putt took too long.

This course is in great shape geens are a bit faster than you would expect but very true

Slow group and Marshall’ searching for balls in lake instead of telling group in front of us to keep up with the group ahead. We ended up skipping a hole to get away from slow group. They had a whole hole open on front.
