About
Bordering the Indian River, Viera East Golf Club sprawls across a landscape of sparkling blue lakes and native marshland that is accented with towering pines and cypress trees. The well known layout is considered one of the best and most affordable public golf courses in Florida. The course features large, undulating greens that are carefully protected by numerous bunkers and risk-reward opportunities that will challenge even the lowest handicappers. Although the course offers a fairly formidable test, beginners will be comforted by the wide fairways that have ample bailout room. Viera East Golf Club's eighth and ninth holes are a memorable duo, beginning with a short par 4 that is the best birdie opportunity on the course. The ninth is another par 4 with water all along the left and trees along the right. Both holes are made even more challenging with strategic bunkering along the greensides.

Friendly staff, the greens are fast but manageable, fairways well maintained, very safe for solo player & the pace was good enough for me

Great value
I found a fairly cheap tee time compared to the other courses in the area. Got to tee off a little early from my tee time. Was teamed up with 2 above average golfers. Greens were pretty quick and not punched. Course was in overall nice shape.

Great golf course and good price
One of my favorite courses around. Compared to Duran and about 20-25% cheaper. Staff is great and always good pace of play so far.

Dry Days of Spring
Little to no rain in recent weeks made the course hard and dry. Greens were still receptive and fast. One par three was closed due to new irrigation system being installed. No notification of 17-hole course when booking tee time.

The guy running the desk was very disrespectful when I come to Florida I try to come here 3to 4 times this trip will not suggest people to golf here I golfed with seasoned golfers that golf here Regularly Was told we had to go off the ten hole to start after doing the back nine in 1.5 hours we come back to the first hole and started behind a foresome which took almost four hours5.5 hour is unacceptable My score showed how slow it was I am patient however this was pathetic
Was supposed to golf with a threesome at the time I reserved Stater threw ahead tee time with two ladies that pretty well went right down center of fairway however 8 to 9 shots Later I am glad I didn’t pay to much Probably won’t golf there again after I head home
The course is the bomb
This course is well worth the money. Restaurant was closed, so bring your own food. Staff wasn’t too friendly
