Bordering the Indian River, Viera East Golf Club sprawls across a landscape of sparkling blue lakes and native marshland that is accented with towering pines and cypress trees. The well known layout is considered one of the best and most affordable public golf courses in Florida. The course features large, undulating greens that are carefully protected by numerous bunkers and risk-reward opportunities that will challenge even the lowest handicappers. Although the course offers a fairly formidable test, beginners will be comforted by the wide fairways that have ample bailout room. Viera East Golf Club's eighth and ninth holes are a memorable duo, beginning with a short par 4 that is the best birdie opportunity on the course. The ninth is another par 4 with water all along the left and trees along the right. Both holes are made even more challenging with strategic bunkering along the greensides.

Viera East forgiveness
Excellent layout, intermediate challenge, 7 friendly tee boxes at each hole for all skill levels to choose from, very fast putt surfaces make for practice and critical reads. Enjoyed with wife and couple paired up with and highly recommend. Can't wait to return. Price, fair value.
Quick afternoon round
Booked on line 45 minutes before we played turned up all good staff friendly went straight out no body in front the two of us went round with not one hold up just over 3 hours tees in good nick fairways plenty of grass on them and greens in great nick and fast well worth a visit some really nice holes will be back
Good Neighborhood Course
Excellent Greens rolling true and fast. Fairways in good condition. A number of challenging holes. Meanders through a housing development but houses mostly not in play. Some holes have water in play. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was slow on first nine but good on back nine.
Rookies
Always like this coarse ,1st time I had very inconsiderate golfs behind us tho ,,,hit into us 3 times ,,NOT the courses fault ,hit our golf cart with ball ,our pace of play was excellent 18 holes in under 4 hrs ,and we were a 3 some,,,butttt Viera is a great coarse ,great food and drinks and coarse is in great shape ......
Viera, FL and Viera East GC
Wife and I enjoyed the wonderful couple we were paired with who were experienced on course layout. Beautiful layout with forgiving fairways. Greens were extremely fast and tough to read. Loved the challenge. Wife has only been playing for 6 months so she enjoyed the large selection of t box options. Friendly clubhouse staff and we look forward to returning again.
Nice course, windy dried out, fast greens.
The course is in good shape, we had very windy conditions. Dry stretch has made the greens fast, hard to hold from fairway, and careful putting, it will get away from you. In windy conditions this course will challenge you, hitting 2x clubs is a norm for some holes.
Fun to play, good experience.

Winds made Course difficult to play. Hard to keep ball on green. Course was in good condition but drying out quick due to continuous 20+ mph winds

Course with a touch of distinction. Your status goes up when you play Viera East. Very satisfying.

As always, Viera East is a great experience. Value, course conditions, staff helpfulness. I drive 30 mins each way to play here with other courses close by.
