When playing this course be prepared for fast greens. Challenging course that doesn’t sneak up on you it’s all right in front of you

Course was in nice shape. I’d rate it about an 8. Super fast greens so go to putting green for a few minutes before you play

Perfect conditions for January. Pace of play was good,, company was fantastic, and beverage cart was up and running.

Viera is in fantastic condition right now. The greens were very fast, which is awesome, but they need to consider moving the pins on a couple of holes. For example, the flag on #17 was in the back left. One of our players hit a putt along a side hill lie which missed on the short side and rolled down the hill to about 15' away. He hit the next putt short, and it actually rolled almost all the way back down to him. If you can't set a ball down near the hole and have it stay where you put it, the cup is cut in the wrong place. Same on #7. However, the staff was personable as always and the pace of play was awesome. We weren't pushed and didn't have to wait at all, even teeing off at 9:15 on a Sunday. There are a couple of service issues that they need to change, though: 1. The beverage cart has no credit card reader, so they don't accept credit. 2. The new restaurant doesn't open until 9:30, at least on Sunday. I was really hoping for a bite to eat before playing, and when it was Divots, they made a good breakfast. I imagine that the first couple of groups teeing off in the morning probably even missed it at the turn as well.

Pro shop staff was great and the starter was very organized. The driving range is great and near the club house and to the 1st tee. I will definitely play this course again

I live in Melbourne, the course was in great shape , pace was just fine and all staff was great . The employees in the restaurant were excellent we enjoyed everything .

This course has a great layout, and is very open to all types of golfer skill levels. The issue I have seen most recently is the increase of rates compared to other local courses rates. This course is subsidized by a local CDD, which has to answer to a board for improvements. The most recent improvements were spent on the golf course itself, but this course should spend more effort on the manicuring of overgrowth that is usually found on the interior holes. They can not blame their issues on staffing, because they have ample grounds crews to pick up debris after windy/stormy conditions. The practice facilities are good, but could use a bit of expanding. The teaching pro is good, but there is only one and there should be more to choose from in that arena. Overall, the course is good, the young staff could use a seasoned mentor on how to run the front side of golf operations. Although, there are shortages everywhere due to Covid, other course have managed to stock their shops with the bare essentials. I would suggest getting balls and gloves at a local golf shop and sell them at cost, just to have something!

I hope this golf course mgmt. team gets it's act together because the course layout is what makes this course most desirable.

Nice course , great shape , good pace of play . Great value .

The starter came in the restaurant after 9 holes and said we had to get back in line where we could to finish the back 9. We stopped to sit down and cool off. So we went back out to play and the starter yelled to us as we went by that we can't stop like that for a hot dog. Every time we've played there we have stopped after 9 to eat and then go back out. What changed?

We were held up all day. The course marshal on a par 3 told us to speed up. We waited on the tee for 10 minutes for the group ahead of us to clear the tee that green. I think the group ahead and behind were the marshals friends. His actions we uncalled for and he left before we could say anything. His attitude ruined an otherwise enjoyable round.
