nice easy course
We played 9 holes for the first time at Turtle Creek. The course is in average shape for courses like this in our area. The people are friendly and the restaurant is convenient and has good food.
This is an easy layout - flat with visible hazards.
Carts are in great shape.
The pace of play for us was excellent
The greens were in good condition
Late (4:30 pm) started well bogged down with no ranger on duty
My wife and I picked this time for a leisurely round of golf. It started fabulous, as we were the first twilight tee time and no one around us. We moved very quickly to #7's green where I noticed a large group teeing off of #10 (instead of #1). We caught up to them by hole #13 and waited for every shot after that (there was another group in front of the one that jumped on the course at #10). They did not offer to let us play through. After another hour of waiting for every shot and only going three holes, we gave up and headed into the club house (skipping the rest of the holes).
This was VERY DISAPPOINTING and was because the course club house closed, and no one monitored the new folks jumping in front. We saw one employee searching for balls in the lakes and streams instead of monitoring play.
You either manage your course or you do not. I will not be back for awhile unless they make changes. It is not fair to wait on groups that come after you and jump onto the course. They either DID NOT PAY or DID NOT FOLLOW THE RULES AND START on #1. (reviewed by spouse of registered user that also played)
Top Notch Time at Turtle Creek
We had a fun day golfing at Turtle Creek.
Go play and enjoy the day!
Nice course layout
Fun place to play, good condition, great course personal
Great potential and fun course
So the course has sparse grass all over the course. Most tee boxes were spotty at best. The green are slow and some are beat up with missing grass, however, it was a fun little track! It’s a bit tight and can play short so you may not need your driver in every hold but placement is the name of the game here and that’s what made it fun! Watch out for the water in some of the blind areas. I would recommend playing this course for a fun day and the price is very reasonable compared to other course in the area.
I wish they could put a few $$$$ as I millions to make this a great course but not likely to happen.
The 19th hole at the Twisted Birch is a great way to end your day and talk about all those shots that could have been amazing and just missed!
Rough shape
Tee boxes in horrible shape. Lots of hard dirt and little good grass fairways. Needs watering.
Good
Tight little course. A little shorter than average. Good value for $$$. Must be able to control driver
Course has potential
The Tee boxes were awe full. The greens overall were acceptable. There were area on several green that were devoid of grass. Fairways was a mixture of weeds and grass.
Breezy Day ⛳ Golf
The course was in pretty good shape for the end of the busy season. The staff was very accommodating and the pace of play was perfect. No one behind us pushing & the groups in front kept moving, we hardly had to wait at all.
Tough Times At Turtle!
A challenging course! Requires a long straight drive on some of the Par 4’s. Water in play on most holes! Very fun to play. Beautiful holes on the back 9.
