Nice Layout
Course has nice layout and is in reasonably good shape. Staff and starter are friendly and accommodating. Course is challenging and as long as you keep your ball in the fairway it offers a good score.
Closing soon
All in all it was a great day, considering the course will be closing this spring. Greens were in good shape. Hope someone will refurbish the course.
Not worth the price tag
Course has a fun layout. Not too long so can shoot low. Staff was rude. We had two tee times back to back for a total of 6 players. No one was behind us so we started to play scramble together. Staff rudely yelled at us that we could not have more than 4 players on green at a time. Let me say again there was no one behind us that we were holding up. I told the staff we would split up if someone came behind us and he rudely continued on his power trip. 48 dollars was really steep to be treated like that and the pro shop is a trailer. Value is not there.
Old course may go away
After playing this course of and on for 28 years, it's sad to hear it may go away.
Very poor maintenance
Starter was very friendly but the guy inside the pro shop looked up from his laptop when we walked in and without a word looked back at his computer.
There were 6 people playing ahead of us!! They didn’t let anyone play through so we had to skip a hole as did others we saw.
Course was in bad shape all around, fairway, greens and tee-offs.
A shame to see this course's decline
We played Turtle Creek several times in winter and spring 2024. It's a fun public course and particularly to hit into the big pond on the driving range. However, the course is in terrible conditions, especially the greens. Rumor has it the course has been sold to developers who will put houses on it. If true, I can't blame the groundskeeper for not putting any money or effort into keeping the course playable. The sand in the bunkers is like cement sand.
A pretty and fun course but patchy greens
A pretty course with tree-lined fairways and water hazards on most holes. The clubhouse and practice facilities are dated but have their own little charm.
Friendly staff and good value for money.
Biggest miss is the patchiness on the greens and bunkers - lots of room for improvement.
