Bon parcours
Le parcours est bien et les verts sont beau.
Par contre les verts sont lents.
Le staff est très gentil.
Enjoyable golf and attractive fees
2 couples played at a great pace starting around 12:30 finishing at 4. The greens were in good shape but very slow so putting was a "whack it straight " strategy. Good bounce and roll on the fairways but the rough was soft and sparse so had to make conservative decisions on shots. Really impressed with the conditions of the sandtraps.
Would not play again
Fairways where muddy. Greens where so slow you could never hit the putt hard enough to get the ball to the hole.
Course does not have an attractive layout. Will not play thre again.
Wet
We and a couple friends went for our first round there. Where it had rained two nights before. The 90 deg. rule was in place for carts. The course was very wet so NO roll to the ball. The staff was friendly enough. Allot of building going on with the constant noise of nail guns going off in numerous places, distracting. Allot of standing water loosing 3 balls in the middle of the fairways. but for the price it was a day out. Would go back and play the course when it is dryer, Greens were in very good shape.
Course was very wet and muddy. Grass very sparse. Greens had a top dressing and were extremely slow as was pace of play 5 hour round.
Runner
We really enjoyed playing on this course. The greens are in great shape and the fairways were average but we loved the layout.
Sandy
Played here whenever I come into town. However playing today was very frustrating. Putting greens were decent but on the slow side. Everywhere else on the course was not in good shape. In fact the worst I’ve seen over the years. There’s barely any green grass on the fairways. Very sandy fairways. I find myself hitting off more sand than grass. Was not enjoyable today due to hitting lots of chunky shots due to the sand.
Great value
Turtle Creek has a challenging layout, but is not overly punishing to golfers who scatter the ball around. A great value at $23 + tax for a early afternoon round. Course in great shape and greens very plush and rolled smoothly.
Great Day
Played with two 2 friends i know for 70 years, great time & had my First hole in one. Third Hole 129 yards wind from the right, golf ball landed on the right side of the green, rolled up and turned left about twelve feet into the hole.I used a hybrid 6. I’ve been playing golf for 53 years. What a thrill. I first played this course in 1980 while on vacation. Username ~ UP & DOWN
Bring Balls
Plenty of water on almost every hole. Very nice for the money
Course us a middle c.
Overall c fairways need work. Layout is tight. I would go back and play again under the right circumstances. Not the kind of course you want to play on the weekend. Too many non players.
Good Value
The course has an excellent variety of holes, with water in play on just about every hole. The fairways are not manicured, but ok to play from. The problem today was that the tees and greens were very shaggy—way overdue for a mow. Which was too bad, since the greens are usually some of the best in the area.
dont no why they sent out back to back 2 sumes it really slowed up play ... when The course is busy Other then that had a great time
Course coming along
This tract is a tight layout. The greens are getting better along with the sand traps, but some fairways are very lean on grass. It definitely could use an overseeding to spruce up the course. Other than that, all employees were amicable.
