About
The Golf Club at Cypress Creek is a full service, 18-hole semi-private facility. Located just 25 minutes south of Tampa on I-75 at exit 240, this is a must-see club featuring a meticulously maintained championship course. It is designed on rolling terrain around 600 acres of pristine conservation wetland with multi-tiered tees, undulated greens, numerous bunkers and lakes. Great Layout. Excellent value golf course with a very enjoyable restaurant.

Painfully slow gameplay
Cypress Creek used to be a well kept secret. Ever since they were absorbed by whomever owns Bloomingdale, they’ve taken on their practices. If that register will take a payment, they’ll shove you on the course. Just like Bloomingdale, there was a line of carts at the first tee and it was hit and wait for the entire round. It was so bad the group behind us (who we had plenty of time to get to know due to waiting) quit after 9 holes.
Single Round Review
Not happy! 1. Course was wet for no apparent reason. It had been very cold (for Tampa) the 2 previous days but not that much rain. Several holes (not Par3) were CPO.
2. Carts have GPS so mine was "supposed" to be turned off for disabled player. Man! my cart wouldn't let me get near my ball on many holes. This made a huge difference in pace of play and scoring. Not to mention I'm quite sore today.
Love the layout
Greens were in good condition and running true
Fairways were patchy and where there was grass, it was cut so close you were unable to pitch
No ball washing stations, no garbage receptacles at any holes
Challenging course well placed sand traps in middle of course and around the greens
Tees and greens were perfect. Can see many improvements. Would have given a 5 but fairways still need a little improving. Didn't use off course amenities.
First time at Cyprus Creek
If you can hit it straight, you can do well on this fairly narrow course. Unfortunately I can't always do that.
Good round anyway.

I love this track but conditions hv always been a problem
The greens were great but the fairways need work
They were patchy and where there was grass, they were cut really thin. Making it almost impossible to pitch
I will probably wait awhile before I return to see if there is any improvement on the fairways
