Occasional Golf lover in high desert.
Nothing to complaining except rest room in the field need to be upgrade for better condition. After all it is beautiful golf course. !

Playing in the footsteps of Palmer, Snead you can not beat it. I was a PGA tour caddie 1986 and I really enjoyed the layout, the flora and fauna that you experience, the tight fairways bordered by desert sand or barranca which is not maintained, There is only one water hole but that is understandable considering the location, the sand is not sugar but not cement either, the greens are steep and challanging, and in decent shape tje tee boxes clean and require thoughtful drive placement. All in all we had a really good experience.

Course needs work
There is a lot of out of bounds that just looks like the move trash they don’t want into and leave it, mowing was a issue when we was there they mowed over one of my balls they took for ever to clear the course. A Tournament was going on while we played no one told us i I was asked to speed up play but I was taking time cause two people in front of me where super slow not part of tournament then come to find out 4 carts with two each playing same holes was in from of the slow people, so we just skipped 16-18 and left won’t be going back for a while
