Like this course but a fivesome and sixsome on Sunday?

I’ve played golf at this course for years. It was very hot and extremely windy making conditions tough. The course is always well-maintained and all of the staff are great.

Played on Sunday with my son who lives in Henderson and we were joined by a local single.

When we got to the second hole, a challenging uphill par 3, we waited for several minutes because there was a sixsome near the green.

They are awful so we eventually went around them. Smooth sailing for a few holes until the group ahead of us got stuck behind a fivesome, which is unheard of during the weekend. Of course, we had to skip a hole due to a slow sixsome which is unheard of on any day and on any course.

Nice that the large groups found a course on a Sunday that would let them play. But, it ruins much of the round for groups behind them.

all good but the phone

All good except when I asked about the casino rate over the phone and the lady cashier was quite short and inhospitable. Other than this, everyone was quite welcoming from cashier, starter, and cart barn operator. Beverage girl was great but only saw her once during each 9 holes and it was hotter than Hades!

Course was great condition and it was a hot one. We went through 10 holes and didn't see a cart person it was well over 100 today, back nine same thing no cart person, need to work on this. Otherwise love playing here.

Well maintained and challenging par 60 executive course in Henderson. Very green and lush (rare in Vegas) with super fast greens. If you miss greens you will pay the price with the thick rough and tricky bunker shots. Pace of play can be an issue at times, but what else is new with golf post Covid?

Okay course but overpriced and way overgrown

Course conditions are nice green grass but way overgrown. Tee boxes are way too long grass. Fairways are long. About 1” thick grass and roughs are 3” + thick. Tee boxes are almost 2”. You gotta tee it up to almost driver height for par 3s otherwise you’re teeing off in rough. If your balls rolls into the rough. Good luck finding it or hitting out. The lawnmower guy was there but I guess doesn’t know how to lower the guard to cut closer. Greens are nice and roll well. Overall for $30 for a par 60 course. It’s overpriced. Pace of play is slow too. I’ve played here a few times. And it’s a retirement community so a lot of older senior golfers. They call it a “private” course open to public. But honestly, they don’t know how to cut grass. You can play other full courses for $30 that are much more worth the money. If you like to hack and slash out of thick rough and pay a lot for it (all in a 4 hour round for a par 60). This is your place. They need to cut their grass to nice tight lies or lower price to $15-20. This place would be great for that price. Not worth 30. I can’t recommend to anyone unfortunately, unless you are brand new golfer or cant hit far enough for a longer, normal course.

Great course, especially for the price

The course is very well maintained and beautiful. It’s a good course for beginner intermediate especially, because there aren’t too many holes where you just straight up lose your ball. Challenging enough to learn from but not discourage.
