Long course

I booked this round through GN hot deals and boy am I glad I didn’t pay full price.

Maybe it was the time of year maybe it was just just recovering from something else but the course was super dry and “baked out”. Tee boxes were shaggy, fairways were 1/3 dormant, the collars around the greens weee very spotty, and the greens were long and very bumpy.

As mentioned above. I paid about 1/2 price because of a “hot deal”. Glad that’s all I paid. This is a “must skip” of not getting 1/2 price

I golfed here a couple times one during Covid and once before, the condition of the course was below Parr, I really did not care for it but lately I’ve been reading reviews and other golfers who I’ve golf with had told me that they really improve the course maintenance wise, so I was very impressed to play there this past Saturday beautiful weatherI will definitely come back when a positive changes courses now

The Staff was great. The course is in good shape. Pace of play was pretty awful. My husband and I were paired with another twosome. So we expected about a 4 hour pace of play. We were told when we showed up for our 9:50AM tee time that they were already running 15 minutes behind. That seemed a little early to already be 15 minutes behind…and it just got worse. It took the 4 of us more than 4 1/2 hrs for the round.

I’ve been playing this course going on 2 years. Last year the course was in a bit of a rough shape. Several dry fairways and choppy greens. This year however they have done a lot of work to improve it and it shows. Greens are well maintained and are probably the best part. But they also worked on the fairways and rough. Both in great shape though the rough might be a bit too tall. Sometimes it’s hard to see a ball right in front of you because of how high some roughs are. But overall the improvements are evident and have made this course one of my favorites this year. Plus you can’t beat the value. I’ve paid much more for courses that were not as fun as this one is.

Great Course, Great Staff, Slow Play Staff in the bar/restaurant was so friendly and efficient. Pro shop staff was great. Starter was so friendly and accommodating. Course was in pretty good shape. Pace of play was way too slow. Took us, a foursome, 4 1/2 hours to play. And we were told at our 9:51 tee time that they were already 15 min behind.

It was perfect until a crazy rain storm came in. We tried to wait it out but it wasn't going away. We only finished 9 holes but it was fun.

Staff was great, course has been well maintained. It was very busy so carts were not readily available. The pace of play was very slow…2:15 tee time…was only able to play thru 17 (6:15pm).

I would recommend to friends and advise to get early tee time.
