Chimera Golf Club

This course is very well maintained and fun to play. It’s challenging but also forgiving. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. You even get a free bucket of range balls with your fees so go early and hit.

The course was in great shape,staff was friendly and the food was fantastic. Quite pricey for a non resident at $179 but all of the courses in that area are.

I can always count on Chimera for being a quality fun outing and yesterday did not disappoint. Pace of play was incredible for an early afternoon tee time. I believe our group waited for one tee box to open before hitting on a par 3. Never saw anyone in front of us after that. Course was in great shape. There were a couple holes that was follow the rough around until you can go 90 to your ball. Was a non issue honestly. Greens were tricky with great pin placement to challenge your ability to read each one. Looking forward to playing again soon as it was that fun. I took advantage of the driving range as well, there's something fun about seeing the large target numbers so you could really see where you were landing after each shot. I played more expensive courses these past few days and none could match Chimera in terms of fairway conditions. Enjoy!

Great conditions on every hole. Staff well organized at check in. Pace was great, decent value in food options including pizza which you don't often have the option for. Had a lot of fun. Will be back many times

Greens were very slow and bumpy, they need a haircut badly. It does seem like they are not mowing every day or at least rolling them. But I would play again in May and see if the greens improve.

Worth money but pace of play was about a half hour slow. Allow for extra time

The staff is great, the course layout is solid. The greens are slow and a little rough from the winter. Driving range was mats only. Not a walkable course, need the cart.

From a 6 index…. Course conditions generally pretty good, greens are a bit slow. Great staff and restaurant. Biggest issue is the pace of play. Right around 5 hours.

Highly recommend course great value and recommend playing blues.

After teeing off early (6:20), replayed at a good pace for a foursome 1:40 for the front side. On the 12th green, we were told about the women's league would have ve groups shotgun starting on 14 within 30 minutes. We made it to the 17th reel before we waiting for 2 women's groups played the hole. Then a another 4some from the league jumped in front of us. KAREN tells us that they can't have men between them. Thank you Karen . I didn't know you owned the course. End of round for us.

this course is in Henderson, Nevada outside of Las Vegas. It’s a very scenic and pleasurable playing experience. The pro shop. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The bar and grill has a full menu and the

staff was amazing. The practice facility does lack a little bit of space. It was very tight area due to the weather conditions we were hitting and the short game area was very limited as well, but overall the property and conditions were very, very nice. The carts were updated GPS available. They did have a player assistant on the course however, the pace of play was extremely slow the day we played due to every tee time being booked. I would play this course again on my next trip to the Las Vegas area and you do enjoy the round if you enjoy scenic views.

We enjoyed playing the course. Pace of play was over 5 hours with no marshals moving players around faster. Their GPS messages were annoying - keep up yet we have to wait for scramble players ahead hitting from the wrong tees and multiple lost balls…..Staff were accommodating and apologetic. Will recommend given this comments and play again……

This was the slowest play I’ve ever experienced. It took us over an hour to get through the first two holes. On hold number two there were five groups on the hole at one time. So I quit playing after the second hole because starting at noon, there was no way we could finish by sundown. The round at that pace would’ve taken a little over seven hours. When speaking to the ranger, he didn’t seem that interested in doing anything about it. So that’s why I am along with many others quit playing.
