On your next Las Vegas golf trip, make sure to put Chimera Golf Club at the top of the list of "must plays." Opened in July 2003, Chimera Golf Club (previously known as Tuscany Golf Club) is one of the newer golf courses in Las Vegas.

This Ted Robinson Jr design just minutes away from The Strip measures 6,757 yards from the tips and features 68 white-sand bunkers and enough water hazards to make you wish you brought your beach towel.

Chimera Golf Club will test the skills of low handicappers, but four sets of tees make it accessible to novice golfers. Overall, Chimera Golf Club is an enjoyable, entertaining round of golf in a truly beautiful setting.

Clubhouse:Chimera Golf Club’s centerpiece is a spacious 31,000 square foot Old World Tuscan Village which features a golf retail store, a pub and fine dining restaurant as well as banquet and meeting facilities. An expansive 4,000 square foot patio offers incredible views of the golf course, mountains and Las Vegas Strip. Golfers can take advantage of outdoor dining or just relax after an enjoyable round.

Golf Shop: Welcome to the Village of Tuscany, here in the golf shop you will find everything you would expect to discover at a first class golf club and more. A tremendous selection of stylish sportswear, name brand merchandise and top of the line professional golf equipment awaits every one. Men’s and Ladies clothing lines like Ashworth, EP Pro, Marbas, Tommy Hilfiger, Cutter & Buck, Tilelist, Maxli, Adidas, FootJoy and many, many more.
With over 1000 square feet of retail space, the Chimera Golf Club at Tuscany Shop will provide something for every golfer and gifts every golfer will treasure.

Group Events: Tuscany is a premier setting for groups and corporate outings of all sizes. Banquet facilities can be personalized and separated, creating a private atmosphere for weddings, receptions, parties and business meetings.

Tuscany Community: Tuscany is a master-planned gated golf course community, featuring community parks, walking paths and school for its residents. With nearly 2,000 homes, six home builders and prices ranging from $200,000 to $500,000, Tuscany will offer a wide variety of opportunities to prospective homeowners.

Good value but could easily be better.

The course itself was very nice with smooth, receptive greens and fairways that provided consistently good lies. Service was marginal, however. Noone at the bag drop unloaded our bags upon arrival or loaded them in the car, even when there were two guys standing right there. We were not informed of a frost delay when we checked in. Had to hit off marginal mats on the driving range with balls that should have been replaced long ago.

Completely agree on the range balls. I wrote a review recently about their absurd rider fee when they're not charging extra if someone requests a single cart. I neglected to mention the range balls appear to be from the Bush administration. The first one.....

Beautiful course

I really enjoyed the course layout and had one of my best rounds. I enjoyed my playing partners, Gary, tony and Jim. i will be playing here again very soon. The staff were great! The starter let me go a bit early which helped us get done before dark

ok course but won't be back due to rider fee during Covid

This is your standard fare for Vegas, midlevel course that's plenty decent but busy and nothing to rave about. I hope someone with the course, or ANYONE, can rationally explain why they charge a ridiculous $25 rider fee now I'd be grateful. They're not charging anyone extra at the moment for a single cart if you request one due to Covid. Yet if you have someone actually sitting in that seat they are. The one and only rationale I could think of, which is a huge stretch, is that it costs them more gas to run a cart with 2 people. But if they actually responded with that nonsense it would make them appear even more foolish than they already do. I paid $92 PRIOR to the rider fee, and that was already double what the others in my group paid since they were local. One in our group had a single cart, yet didn't pay extra. This is truly bizarre to me, I've played numerous courses since Covid and this is a first for a rider fee. There are plenty of better choices in Vegas and I'll make sure to find one of them next time.

Great as always

Played this course a few times now and I like it more every time. Always in good condition and great views. Layout isn’t too challenging and pace of play is pretty good as well. Will play here at least once a month.

Over booked

Our tee off time was 2 p.m. This course was short of golf carts and we were finally given a cart at 2:20. The course was overbooked and slow. We only made it to the 8th hole but paid for 18. Not very happy.

The Course

Pace was a little slow but hey.....folks were prolly trying out their new clubs. The tee box to the fairways were perfect. The greens were a little spotty but were soft. Great course overall and staff were extremely friendly.

One of the better local courses. (non-resort)

I live on west side and typically play courses in Summerlin area. Chimera is a great option, but far for me. Glad I ventured out. Course was in great condition and far better than Arroyo and much faster than almost every summerlin course.
