With over 1000 square feet of retail space, the Chimera Golf Club at Tuscany Shop will provide something for every golfer and gifts every golfer will treasure.

Group Events: Tuscany is a premier setting for groups and corporate outings of all sizes. Banquet facilities can be personalized and separated, creating a private atmosphere for weddings, receptions, parties and business meetings.

Water stations

I had to stop playing after 16 holes because I ran out of water several holes back and never saw the beverage cart on the back nine. There wasnt a cloud in the sky and it was 105 degrees and there are very little trees to provide shade between holes.Pretty sure heat stroke was setting in.

Has Great Potential

The course seems young and needs to mature. There is a temporary structure for the 19th hole and the pro shop. The practice area leaves a bit desired. The practice putting green as about the size of a typical bedroom. The pitching/chipping green was being renovated, so it was closed. The driving range was "Mats only," with nothing to support a tee shot...just a flat mat to hit from. So no need to factor in any practice time before heading out on the course. The course was a fun, but not very challenging layout. The greens were in good condition, but could be cut lower or rolled. Putting on them was like putting on 1/4" astroturf. Expect short delicate putts to not hold their line. You can hear the ball rolling over the tips of the grass...sort of like putting on 100 grain sandpaper. The greens need water too. The fairways were spotty, needing attention to get a smooth playing surface. Often one is better off being in the rough, as it is not rough and does have grass. I'd give it a few months and try again in maybe October/November.

Always dependable

Booked another round and the course was in great shape. I played in the afternoon and had friendly beverage cart service during the round which is so important. I breezed through the front 9 in 90 minutes and thanks to some congestion the back 9 was 2 hours 30 minutes. No fault of the course just way too many people playing with no clue. The greens were true and fast and the fairways in great shape. You cannot beat this course for the summer rates because it's in really good shape. I always enjoy playing here. It's a great layout and forgiving.

Surprise, you get penalized for Fast Pace

First of all I'll start with you're required to prepay when you book on GolfNow. Had a 5:18 a.m. tea time just me and one other golfer I play with. We checked in with the Pro Shop they said we were good to go we checked in with the starter. At no time did the pro shop or starter say that they had a tournament starting at 7:00 and it was a shotgun start. When we were on whole number 12 a golf Marshall told us that the men's tournament was starting at 7:00 and that we couldn't be in the middle of it you said you can't and you kept saying you can't be there you can't be there over and over very loud. When we got on hold number 13 the tournament was there and there were two groups on the Tee Box, 8 golfers teaming off. We went into the Pro Shop and told him that they didn't give us notice of this tournament. Goes up somebody out of the Pro Shop said it was our fault because we played too fast. The pro at the shop told us to go back to 13 and get behind the tournament. Pro Shop said that's all he was going to do for us. Which was basically nothing. Okay now to the course conditions there was mud muddy spot around the greens. The fairways were very tight patchy grass and Clump grass and several areas the rough had very patchy grass embarrassed spots with mud. Number 11 Green had a giant puddle of water right by the pin. Me and my partner playing golf is very surprised that the course was in this bad condition and that they were rude when they and not informative about the tournament. We learned that on Tuesday we didn't play because they have a sketchy type tournament that sometimes tees off and gets in the middle of your own. And then we found out today that they have a men's group tournament every Wednesday and a women's group tournament every Thursday so. So if you want to play early and fast don't play on none of those days.. I'm also surprised of course has been that bad condition because all winter that course was in perfect shape.

Great Deal and course

The course is great, but your better off bringing your own range balls. The range balls and mats have to be the WORST in the USA. No reason to have a great course and just a junky range.

Great deals

GOLFNOW had awesome deals for courses that are amazing to play right now. We got on this track early and got done in less than 3 hours due to no one on the course today. The layout was great and the course was well kept up with the hot weather. Friendly staff as always.

Nice golf club

The golf club was very nice and had a nice challenge to it. The greens need some work, but overall, a very nice place to play. I look forward to my next round.

hit the hot spot

good start on a hot day - the ups and downs of the landscape makes this course fun - just enough water and sand to keep things interesting - cart girl make 3 rounds over the 4 hours of play - greens very slow - fairways manicured to perfection - go and enjoy - stay hydrated - fun - fun - fun

Disappointed

Greens and fairways "spotty" in most places. Bigger complaint in there were NO on course drinking water jugs and no beverage cart service after the third hole.

Greens need improvement

This was my first time playing Chimera GC. The layout was fine but the greens had significant black algae on every hole and were not in good shape. Also, the bunkers could use more

sand and needs to be raked. Course has lots of potential. Driving range needs new balls.
