The Legacy Golf Club

I’ve been coming to Legacy for years and this is the best condition I have ever seen the course in! They are clearly investing in it. The greens were in amazing condition, the best I have ever seen them. The fairways were green and well kept as well. As good as any other course in town under $100.

The staff was the best! The course was even better! The conditions were phenomenal! The update gets twenty thumbs up! The bartender was extremely pleasant and I can say it was my favorite course in Vegas!

Play here often. Always in great shape. Greens are fast and in great shape.

They did a great jobs with the greens. Last year they weren’t great much improved. Very impressive. Rest of course is good.

Never again. I'm 50 years old, shoot a little over 100. I've never been treated so badly at a golf course. We had a ranger on our butt the entire day. Came up to tell us we were playing slow at least a dozen times. The cart computer said we were playing a few minutes slow (5). Here's the interesting part... It wasn't till the 18th hole we finally saw another golfer. 18th green, we saw the guys behind us tee up. After 18 holes, the cart computer said we were 16 minutes behind (that includes a hotdog stop at the turn, which YOU advertised to us when we teed off). This ranger tailed us for two holes. Sat at the tee box and watched over us. I have never been treated so badly ever. I've played all over the country. I will never set foot on this course again, and I will tell anyone who will listen to do the same. And it's not even a "nice" course. It's just an average public course. What a joke. Good luck with that Legacy. So many other choices.

This is the second time I have played this course and the second time I have been disappointed. The first time in summer they were preparing for over-seeding and the grass was completely dead everywhere. This time the conditions were better except for the fact that the sprinklers ran the entire day on the front nine. It was like playing in a swamp. Much of the course was soaked, muddy and unplayable. This was in the middle of the day at 12 during peak hours, it just doesn’t make sense. The cart paths are also a nightmare, the pavement is destroyed and is extremely rough to drive over. This course just really needs an overhaul and needs to be managed better.

First time here, and I was pleasantly surprised. When I say it was wet, I really mean we got lightly rained on for maybe 4 or 5 holes, but not enough to where we wanted to quit for the day.

It seems there is a lot of improvements made over the course. Having said that, there is room for more in my opinion, but I think they are working on it. There are a couple of greens that are in rough shape with bare spots, but you can tell that they have been working on them.

The greens today were playing slow. They were what I would describe as furry. They just finished over-seeding and haven't mowed them down to where they usually do. One of my issues that I have is that they charge you for a small bucket of balls to warm up with.

Overall I enjoyed my round here. If it wasn't so far away from me, I might play here more regularly.

burned out, bumpy greens. not worth the 50% ogg green fees

For a while green fees at this course were down to 30 bucks due to some maintenance issues and really poor greens conditions. I saw that the price was back up to 50 bucks so I decided to book a time ( assuming that the course was in an improved condition). This was far from the case. Fairways are 100% brown, bunkers are filled with rocks and are unplayable, the greens are in terrible shape as well. I’ve played on recently aerated greens that rolled smoother than these. They also had a sign at the course saying they are “preparing to reseed” and that the course would closed on Wednesday. Raising the price when you are “preparing to reseed” seems like a blatant scam especially when people book tee times online and this information isn’t on your website.. Hoping this place comes under new management soon. It was such a nice course when I was a kid and has a beautiful layout but it is being run into the ground, on track to becoming a housing development like black mountain or royal links in town.

Starter was not on top of his duties. I’m less than 10 min from my t-time and there is 2 foursomes waiting on the 1 st T. I should have walked away.

The first nine holes I had to wait on the box for the group ahead to go. I’m fine with it, it’s golf and I’m having a good round.

Then comes the marshal breathing down my neck for slow play. I’m on their heels how much faster can I go! At this point I’m now angry at the marshal, which is compounded by him pushing our group on next hole.

Ther are golfers on the green, par 3 mind you. I’m not about to hit onto them. I return to the club house and call it a day.

First time I played this course and I’ve lived in Henderson for 8 years now. Staff is super friendly and course is excellent for beginners through intermediate. The course is well laid out and no hidden holes.

Fun course for a solo afternoon golf. Not recommended if I was entertaining friends. Putting green is horrible and layered with crab grass. Not a true roll. Guessing 7-8 on the Stimp meter. Very slow. The pathway from hole to hole is terrible. Crack sidewalks every other holes. I’m guessing limited $$ reiinvested.

The greens needed to be fixed they were dirt patches and weeds all over them, but the fairway and course layout is very nice!!!
