Desert Willow Golf Course

Good value for money. Relaxed friendly staff. Par 69 with some difficult holes and some water on a few holes. Greens were very fast fairly sloppy making it a good test.

We love this golf course for our short game. The greens are always excellent conditions. Their fast greens but very well maintained.

Played here twice this week while on vacation.

Challenging for my wife, fun for me to tune up for other adventures. Always in good shape and pace is steady. Beverage cart is a bonus.

Was told they just punched the greens 2 weeks ago. Course is coming in nice. Great place to work on your game

This is a fun little course, however, nowhere in the booking did it say the greens were punched. Absolutely not worth full rate when the greens are that bad. Shame.

The course was just punched and sanded, but understand that it's part of maintaining a golf course. Staff( Carey, Pro Shop ) was up front and and very Professional about informing me about these conditions.

I, of course, will be back in a few weeks when Mother Nature does her part.

Also, played with two high school students on break. Cameron and William were very mature and polite. Hope to meet more of them on golf courses, everywhere!!!

PS. The Beverage Cart Guy( yes, Guy) was a kick in the pants with his upbeat personality!!!

Perfect weather today..paired up with some awesome golfers too..that’s one of the real reason I enjoy This game..great people I get to meet..only drawback today was that two high school teams were playing ahead of us and there were 4-5 groups of ladies from Canada playing ahead of us..only got in 13 holes but I’m not complaining..it is what it is..I’ll be back!

I am absolutely amazed by how welcoming and helpful the staff is. I do not play here a lot, but when I do, the staff makes me feel like this is my home course.

Great executive course

Friendly staff, and a fun, easy to play executive course. Well taken care of and very fun greens. All of that, and still an absolute waste of money. The patrons, and course official alike, have absolutely zero interest in etiquette and pace of play. I understand it’s 70° in springtime in the desert, but the course was FAR from busy. Even so, waiting 25-30 minutes between holes as group after group hits 3-4 shots each, poses for pictures, and lines up every 6” putt three times creates an atmosphere that does nothing to promote fun. And the worst part of it, was the course official was circling regularly without even a hint of corrective action. I expect this of a nicer, longer, and busier course, but this course resembles nothing of the sort. My day went from excitement to swing my clubs again to absolute dread that I wasted money and nearly 3 hours to play 8 holes of golf. And no, that’s not a typo. I finally gave into my frustrations and left. If I’m going to spend my afternoon sitting still staring at my phone, I’m going to do it from the comfort of my own home.

I learned to play on this course. The practice facilities are awesome. The course is fun and the views are excellent.

I LOVE Desert Willow........it provides an immense array of terrain to sharpen all aspects of play. S8mply put the course is excellent for all players. It also has a chipping hole and a great putting area. The driving range accommodates a large number of players. This range allows any clubs, some ranges say NO DRIVERS...not here.

Did I say I LOVE DESERT WILLOW....I know I did, I can’t say it enough !

This was the first round of our vacation and I had a new, untried set of clubs and different golf balls.

First surprise was no locker rooms. So we had to change in ladies' and gents' toilets.

We went to driving range and the to start round. Starter advise there was a 3-ball and 2-ball ahead of us. But they played as a 5-ball! Course is a glorified Par 3 and all Par 3's are tricky. Round wasn't too slow at 3.5 hours, but on our return, no-one to take cart, had to carry clubs through club-house as no external route. Pro Shop was closed at 5 30pm and we had to leave the practice balls as the driving range closes on a Thursday at 2 30pm. Whilst low-cost, not high score on customer service.

it was quite windy but not cold but the course is in great condition. played with a great guy and we played quite fast. 1 birdie (yeah) 3 pars (yeahs) everything else was bogie except for number 18 where i hit a good drive but the wind held up my 2nd shot and it rolled down the slope into the water but it was great fun
