Desert Willow Golf Course

Nice little course.very very windy the day we played so all the par 3s made for a very quick 18,average layout,no surprises,staff very accommodating and friendly,hope to play again next time Im in Vegas.

this was a lovely little course; very well maintained.fast paced 18 due to lots of par 3's;and not too many hazards.very windy the day we played but still lots of fun.would highly recommend it.very nice;couteous staff as well.

Great course conditions, grass in excellent shape, greens very dependable. I make it a point to play here on every trip to the area at lease once. I was in a twosome, and we completed the 18 in 2.5 enjoyable hours.

Leave your driver in the car. This course was definitely good for the $23 rate I paid. The greens were very hard and fast. Fairways were fine but you really only have 4 of them to deal with (3 if you can drive it far). Took 3hrs to play which was fine. Nice course to play if you want a quick, cheap round at a par 60 course.

It didn’t hurt that is was a spectacularly beautiful day, but after playing other local courses that were dreadful, this course was a breath of fresh air, from the friendly staff to the challenging & fun course layout. My new favorite!

Had not played since last fall, so course was a great starting course for Vegas visit. Definately an executive course, lovely setting, just a few bare spots on fairways, and greens were in good shape, with good undulations to test your green reading. Fabulous breakfast and very friendly staff.

My husband golf there every Monday and he loves it very much. I love how beautiful the greens are and the views are gorgeous. The pace was perfect and like every time we played there the staff are the best. The greens are a little fast but I adjusted my putting.

Good challenging executive course, like the layout, good pace of play, good value, some rocks in the traps, greens need work

Short course. But in awesome shape for this time of the year.

The course was very well groomed and maintained. The staff was friendly. We have golfed there several times and never been disappointed. We will go back.

Desert Willow is incorporated into an age 55 and over community about 30 minutes drive from the Vegas Strip. Golf range and practice green are available as well as newer electric carts. My partner and I teed off at 12:45 on 03/01/18 with a temperature of 60 degrees and 15-20mph wind. 75% of the holes are par 3's with a few short par 4's mixed in. The fairways are in very good condition for early March with the green stimp meter at 10.5 to 11. The starter said the greens settle in at about 10 most of the year. The back tees are a good test of anyone's game and you had best have your lob shot ready to get up-and-down. The middle tees call for mostly wedge to 8 iron shots with the tips requiring 9 iron on up to hybrid shots. There are a couple par fours long enough to use a driver. A food and beverage cart came by on holes 4 and 11. Bottom line...if you are looking to satisfy a 3 hour fix for under $30 I suggest you try Dessert Willow. I'll be back in a few weeks because I like to putt and these greens deliver. (Four Stars)

Good course for a short game. Could only finish 9 holes because of the adverse weather. Pity.

No matter the season this golf course is always Green". Not yellow like many. It is extremely well maintained and I would definitely recommend this course to all.

It was a great time all around for all of us in the group. I would definitely come back again!

Friendly staff and a welcoming golf community. Great pace of play, high marks for that. Some pretty challenging holes. Would recommend this course to anyone who wants a fun round.
