Desert Pines Golf Club

A beautiful, narrow, and challenging course right outside the strip. Not the most beautiful areas around but the course is maintained well. Only complaints are the bunkers have little to no sand in them and there are a lot of tourists just going out for sake of trying golf and really do not know how to play, therefore creating a slow playing day. It took two of us about 5 hours to finish 18 due to a silly foursome in front of us. Teeing off for a hundred yards and not playing the front tees is going to make other golfers upset.

Dont believe the bad reviews..Course and green were in good shape..Not terribly long but you really have to hit and think your way through the course..Pro shop and everyone working were outstanding..When I'm back in Vegas, I'll definitely play again

Pace of play was slow. Didn’t finish the round. Tee time was 1246 but didn’t tee off 1256. The course was otherwise in great shape, greens and fairways. From out of town but was able to play with a couple of locals so we backtracked and replayed 4-5 holes instead of waiting for the log jam in front of us.

A great course, fairways a tee boxes were fantastic and the greens were perfect ...unbelievably hard to read, but that's Pete Dye for you, you need your best putting game.

Don't be put off by the shortness of the course, it does not have to be long to be hard.

The talk of the day was the 16th which is a par 3 with the tee all the way back to an impossible pin position(I pared it which was a miracle in it's self)

I would have loved to played the whole course but there was a delay in weather. It’s a bumber with GOLFNOW because it was, “weather related.” Can’t cancel. We knew we would have trouble getting in 18 with a late t time but we only got 9 so for $100 each, kinda steep.

The only reason I-gave this course any rating was that the staff was super friendly despite some obviously unhappy golfers. They were friendly so that was great! The course also deserves some credit on the conditions side. Pretty impressive mr. superintendent with the well manicured fairways and greens. Very technical and challenging.

Played my best round of golf here. Narrow fairways make you want to play your best. Good conditions and friendly staff make it worth the money.

Always a pleasure testing your golf game at a difficult course. Will be back again in the future, Highly recommended course.

Nice looking course.

Greens are green, but a bit shaggy and bumpy. Slow.

Public style (good), driving range attached. Not included.

Staff very friendly. Never used bar or made it to the short game area.

I used golf now for late-ish tee time as I am budget-minded. There were singles and twosomes around my foursome, the pace was good until 17 and 18, then it was backed up quite a bit.
