Surreal
We happened to play on a very cold and windy day. With the fairways bro g so narrow it made it even more difficult to avoid the trash strewn drainage ditch that runs the entire right side of the course. Also curious that no one has mentioned the homeless encampments and trash strewn basically everywhere on the left side along with the boarded up house here and there. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating which couldn’t quite make up for the very strange, surreal conditions on the course
Scorable if you can hit it straight
Staff was very friendly and would get you to visit again just because they were so friendly.
Course itself was fun but pretty narrow fairways. Played along flash flood gulley for most of front 9. If you are a little off, or if you sliced /hooked off the tee, likely that you would not find your ball.
They allowed a 5-some which really slowed things down. Fairways were in pretty good shape considering recent heavy rains. Tees and greens were definitely in winter shape.
Winter Golf
The course is not extremely long, but all holes have trouble to the right due to a drainage ditch that runs along each hole except for a couple that has a small look lake. Fairways we're not in the best shape, but greens were in good shape and rolled true. My biggest complaint was all the garbage in the drainage ditch. Looked bad. If you hit a ball there it was difficult to find. They just need to do a better job if picking it up daily.
Just ok
Course was in super rough shape best part of the Day was amazing Staff ! They made a rough Day better for our vacation.
Not a Bad Day on the Course
First time playing this course. Has some interesting holes. A drainage ditch runs through most of the course and a wayward shot will end up under water. The course had been painted with a green, I believe, fertilzer that made it very green, except for the dormant roughs. The roughs could have used some mowing.,..very had to find your ball if you veered off he fairways. Greens were firm and putted nicely. The greens were large and rolly...made for an interesting day putting. I enjoyed this course and would like to come back and play it again when it was all natural green. Pace of play was good, as there were not many golfers playing.
Lots of Water!
First time playing this course, so not much local knowledge. Fairways were nice and just off the fairways was the rough that needed to be cut…tough to find your ball. The greens were average speed but did hold an approach shot. Played as a single so got around the course in 3 1/2 hours. Golf shop and player service folks were great.
The Club at Sunrise
This was the worst course we have played in Las Vegas. The course layout was horrible, grass conditions were horrible. We will never play there again.
Good Course for the price.
Reasonable price. Most of the course was we or muddy. If you played lift, clean and place could be an enjoyable course. I enjoyed the course overall.
Better options
The staff is friendly and the service was great but the course layout is terrible with an out and back layout with a concrete spillway featuring a steep slope on the right and continuous homes too close on the left. The neighborhood is interesting with a couple of tent encampments encountered along the perimeter. I’d recommend spending some extra money and playing the Angel Park Mountain Course
Don't play if you have a slight slice
The course has a burn/waterway on every hole on the right side. If you have a slice or slight fade, you will most likely not enjoy the course.
If you hit it straight or draw the ball, you will most likely love this course.
