Desert Pines Golf Club

I play golf about once per month and had never golfed at this course. I found a great deal on Golfnow so my buddies and I decided to give it a try. The cost was super low, the course was better than expected, and we got a free lunch included afterwards and the lunch was really good - basically anything on the menu. It’s not a resort course by any means, and it’s fairly short, but definitely worth the price.

Just wanted to say staff was great bob was really great got me on my way quick got through the course in 3 hours . Really nice course well maintained

Great track, was in excellent shape for the middle of summer. Greens ran a little slow ( 8/9 ) , overall a very pleasant experience!!

We love Desert Pines its one of the best in Vegas and a must play if your visiting. Ive seen many course get worse year after year. Desert Pines keeps getting better!!!

Very nice golf course , great layout, I’m going back tomorrow, little hick up at the driving range, ball dispenser didn’t work but issue got resolved . Breakfast after the round golf was very good . Super friendly staff in the pro shop as well as in the restaurant.

The course is fun, but challenging. You want to bomb every shot, but if you play it smart, you will be more successful and enjoy it more.

The staff is probably the reason I consider this my "Home" course. They are exceptional, and make you feel at home.

Let Charles (Navy) and the Army Scout (I apologize, I forgot his name), in the Pro Shop know you served, for some good military camaraderie/bantering.

Nice course, great great shape. Greens a little fast. Some doglegs and lake aspects to a few holes you don’t normally see in Vegas. Second cuts on fairways a little long, so don’t miss. Lots of fairway elevation changes which was challenging (feet above/below ball). Undulating greens were a nice touch too, a lot of Vegas courses have the flat boring greens. Had a fun time today, will definitely come back.

Course is short, but the Dye layout makes up for it with no such thing as a flat lie shot. Staff was wonderfully attentive and genuinely friendly. Pace of play was good - 3.5 hour round; could have been even quicker except there were a couple of slower playing twosomes ahead of myself a nice and friendly local named John that I joined up with on the 8th hole. Fairways were good considering the 100 degree heat. There were a couple of crunchy spots, but they did not effect play.

From the time I pulled into the parking lot one of the attendants was at my car welcoming me to the course and carrying my bag to my cart that had my name on it, very impressed. I checked in and was told my round includes lunch in the restaurant, heck yeah!! Course was beautiful! Greens are a bit tricky, the pace was great, tee boxes clean, refreshment truck was seen frequently, and the meal at the end was fantastic!

For me golfing is an experience, and my experience was awesome! Thank you.
