Desert Pines Golf Club

I know it’s Vegas, but 113 degrees at tee time requires real dedication.

2nd time playing here, not sure why I don’t hear more about this track. Close to the strip, affordable, well maintained, fun layout and played both times in 3 1/2 hrs. Not a bombers course, but that’s not my game. You’ll need almost every club in the bag. Hit it straight off the tee (tight fairways) and you’ll be putting for pars and birdies all day. Best review I can give is, I’ll be back.

Was my favorite place in Vegas so far. Absolutely gorgeous course.

Course was well maintained and I finished round in less than 3 hours. Staff was attentive and helpful. I liked the course layout with narrow fairways that keep on alert off the tee. Shorter course but enough of a challenge for beginning and older players. Good value too!

First time at this course. Layout is semi-short by challenging. Need to be accurate with irons. Rented the Golfboards for $30 extra, but made the round super-fun. Staff couldn't be any friendlier from the pro shop, to the board instructor to the grill. Didn't know lunch was included which even made this a better deal. Course was well maintained and the weather was perfect. Would play this again!

The course is really beautiful and in great condition. It is not overly long but it is tight.

The mid-week rate for non-resident is $60 in the AM and $50 after Noon. That price is pretty competitive for a course of this quality level. But fee INCLUDES FOOD AND a BEVERAGE in the crestaurant after your round..

Desert Pines is a group favorite, Great course great staff. Cant miss good time!!!

The golf course itself is quite interesting and challenging. The fairways are very narrow with water and sand coming into play on many shots. Ball placement is essential to score well on this course. The greens are tricky, often with multiple slopes affecting your putt. Unfortunately the course is not being well maintained. It was dry and hard even with the cool weather and the greens were inconsistent. There is minimal staff, no food or beverage service on the course, the carts are old and do not include GPS or other amenities. The green fees are lower than many other courses in the area but for a reason.

The course was amazing. Well kept and beautiful. The staff was amazing and the food was awesome. Highly recommend this course to everyone from beginners to pros alike. Will definitely play this course again.

Desert Pines is one of the best courses in town with one of the best staffs in town by far in both instances. A must play!!!!!

So I last played here a couple of years ago and forgot what a gem this really is. Great layout, tight and compact in area. However, one of the best maintained courses and is a lush green color. One must Just dodge a few of the mowers during the round. Great greens to putt, and water comes in to play on several holes. Food is really decent in the restaurant, and the cart lady was there handing out refreshments all day. Would definitely come back, Pete Dye did a great job here.

One of the best courses in town with one of the best staffs as well.
