Hidden in the folds of the Southern Nevada desert is the lush oasis of Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. The abundance and variety of water features characterize the golf course. Ponds and lakes come into play frequently. There are also mature palms lining the gently rolling fairways and generous greens. The club is known for the immaculate maintenance of the verdant tropical landscape. The course is player-friendly while at the same time offering Las Vegas golfers some unexpected challenges. The layout boasts a set of four impressive par 3s including the scenic third hole, which requires a tee shot over a pond. The designer, Ted Robinson, touted the holes as the best he's ever designed. Rolling mounds and strategic bunkering as well as the occasional multi-tiered green make the golf course more difficult, but there are wide fairways and ample landing areas to provide a balance. The playability of the course combined with the reasonable rates, especially for Las Vegas golf, has earned the club a popular following.

Rhodes Ranch

Enjoyed playing the course and the staff was very friendly. One of the staff members came around to the parking lot to grab out bags while we changed shoes and such. Course was in solid shape considering the heat in Vegas recently. The greens were a little rough on some holes with the grass being longer in some spots than others and a different color. Overall everything played well and I enjoyed my round, the course matches the price point.

Fun course but staff needs some training.

I love playing this course but this last time around will have me questioning going back. I was charged $25 for my 6 year to ride in the court. I’ve never been charged at this course before and the associate was very rude about it. Golf courses should encourage younger generations to get out and play. Yes it was only $25 but it definitely left a poor taste in my mouth.

Enjoyable and fun course to play

I played this course in the middle of July and the course was in great shape. The greens were fantastic (a tad slow, but perfect condition), the fairways were in good shape, the tee boxes were good. It was the kind of conditions that you would expect at the end of April in the desert.....not in the middle of July.

In addition I teed off just before 11:00 and finished 18 in just over two hours. It played more like a friendly resort style course. Many of the fairways were wide and bowl shaped, meaning an errant shot often would funnel back towards the fairway. Highly recommend if you are in Vegas during the summer (or any time for that matter).

Best deal in town

Greens are very slow but in good shape. I assume they have to be a little slow because of the heat. Can’t cut them too low

Round was a little slow. 4 and 1/2 hours. But for how crowded it was I guess that should be expected.
