Profits over pace

Common theme across las vegas arcis managed courses is poor pace. Its a shame that there will never be an improvement of pace. Why???

1. Profit comes first

2. Pace improvements conflict revenue goal

3. Reactive not proactive

4. Competitive pressure not strong

Fact is that arcis has the local las vegas economy by the throat, and they don't have to change. If every golfer who plays low cost courses decided to take their business for a month to aliante, the club at sunrise, durango hills, north las vegas municipal, stallion mountain, or desert willow.... perhaps they would implement change.

Brutal truth:

The Arcis group operates as a for-profit business, and improving pace-of-play is only a priority if it directly impacts their bottom line. Unless golfers demand changes—either by providing feedback, leaving negative reviews, or playing elsewhere—significant improvements are unlikely. The unfortunate truth is that as long as courses remain profitable, pace-of-play issues will likely remain secondary to revenue generation.

Complain all you want but nothing sparks change for businesses like a loss of revenue.

Most Open course in Vegas

Most LV courses have very narrow holes covered with boulders and gravel. Yes, we are in the desert, so large grass fields are a rarity, but this course provides. It is a great course for beginners.

Don’t sell tee times if you’re closed

Made a tee time reservation, paid, and even received a confirmation e-mail but arrived on Christmas day to learn that they were closed. What the heck? Dont release tee times if you know you’re going to be closed or at the least call/e-mail saying the reservation is going to be canceled. Unprofessional.

Good Afternoon,

Our course was opened for 8:30am tee times as advertised on our website. These were the only times available to book and we did have about 50 golfers.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any further issues at jtreude@arcisgolf.com.

The course is not bad for beginners.

The tee box has no numbers!

For first time of that course, it’s hard because you don’t know if you’re in the right tee box next.

Decent course but not worth the cost from golf now

Its a muni course where I paid 120 dollars.

It was a nice course but price should have been 60 dollars.

Course owners better check in on operations

I have not had a worse experience. There is not a starter so there isn’t any organizational. The golfers had to ask others what their t-time is to figure out who goes next. I had a 9:40 t-time and I was told the group I was being paired with had not arrived yet. I hit practice balls and that guy was good. I was told to go grab a cart and there was no ice or complimentary water. I asked the cart guy about it and he asked what do you need water for. He said they had water out on the course and that I could go to the bar and get ice? I went to the #1 tee and several groups were waiting to tee off. My group still had not arrived so I went to the clubhouse and they didn’t have any direction for me. So I asked if I could go and ask to join another group and they said go ahead. There groups of 5 and play was very slow. There was no cart person to buy anything from and half way through the round I went to the bar and there was no advertisement of food being available. Just a bartender busy talking to a guy at the bar. I went back out and finished the round 6 hours after I started. Ownership is not going to make any money here the way things are run. It is a shame that an iconic course has devolved to this. Conditions of the course were not very good. Obviously I won’t go there again and if this is any indication of Arcis courses I won’t be going to any of those either.

Ridiculously slow

I played here today with my dad. (I’m a local). It took 1 hour and 40 mins to play the first 5 holes. When we got to hole 6 (par 3), we had a total of 12 players sitting at the tee box and 4 on the green. For $70/person (outrageous) it was unbelievable how backed up it was. We left after sitting on the tee box for 30 mins. The bathrooms had no working amenities besides 1 stall. Hole 1 “green” was a cup in the fairway. Will not be back.

Terrible conditions.

The course was in terrible shape. Greens and tee boxes were torn up. Fairways looked like a pasture. Bathroom in the clubhouse was flooded from a leaking toilet. This course is horrible.

The Greens are is bad condition.

I know this course is a really enjoyable course. It would be nice if they would lower the rates or at least post it on the website about the condition of the course.
