Having hosted three PGA Senior Tour events, Wild Creek Golf Course is a run that few golf travelers want to miss and part of what helps to make Reno and the High Sierras one of the top golf destinations on the entire West Coast.
Featuring rolling meadows and challenging golfers with a plethora of water hazards and other challenges, Wild Creek is a popular stop for local golfers. With a course that will challenge golfers of all levels, Wild Creek is also a bonanza for those that love great scenery during their round, as panoramic views of the High Sierras and Reno will be a player's partner for the round.
Wild Creek is rounded out with superb practice facilities, to go along with a par-3 executive course, making it the perfect place for players to sharpen their golfing skills.

Pace of play
Well to start with I don’t ever remember when you can play a 5some on any course that I have ever played, let alone 2 5somes back to back. One of those went in sat down and ordered lunch and sat and ate it then jumped in front of us and behind the other. Went and complained a little but not much, they informed us that the Marshall was on it, yeah he was but didn’t do a thing about either one of them. Will never play this course again until they straighten things out.
Wildcreek
This is my favorite course in Reno. I'm not the best golfer but I do ok, 93 today, and this place is very challenging for me. I always golf with random strangers and have met some great people in the process. I appreciate that I'm treated kindly and I feel very at home here.
Wild creek Reno
I played this course twice and the overall experience was great . Loved the course ,loved the layout and loved the friendly staff . I would play this course again in a heartbeat . Congrats to Wild Creek staff and owners . Job well done . Gerry Leeman
Nice course
Wildcreek is a wonderful course to play however with Reno/Sparks taking away so many courses in the past the course does get crowded and play is slow to average about 4hrs for 18 holes. The greens vary in speed from slow to fast so be on your best game. Fairways are in good condition after the harsh winter. I will continue to play here weekly.
Good trek, some toughness in some holes.
Really enjoyed playing here, scenery was amazing with the snow covered mountains in the background. Having locals help me really thwarted what could be frustration with hidden hazards. All in all a pleasure to play and great value for the price.
Great course
Wildcreek is a great course for the dollar. To bad the sparks city council and the Washoe county school district are stupid enough to put a High School on part of the course. The recommended area will greatly impact the course. Seems our elected officials are more concerned with their own agenda rather that what the public wants. Maybe the Sparks city council should move the new High School to a closed golf course in the Truckee meadows or rebuild Hug High School. It would seem rebuilding would be less costly to the taxpayers. How about placing this item on a ballot for Washoe county to see what the public and voters want done. Not that the council would follow what the voters want.
Play Wild Creek now before its lost to politicians.
Call Ahead
The course was in good shape for this time of year. The issue was they only had back nine open. This was not made aware at time of booking; thus pace of play was horrible with many 5somes out on course. Word advice call ahead to find out if all 18 holes are open. If not beware and don't be in a rush.
Hot deal
Hot deal or no deal, carts seats duck taped, sand traps are a joke, greens rolled ok, fairways all right. Tee boxes need help. overall a course that has lots of potential, trying to be adequate and failing in my opinion.
Fun Course
Fun course and great weather today. The pace was a little slow towards the end, but managed to finish before dark.

Off season special
I love golfing here. It is a great value for the winter time. It gives me a chance to keep on top of my game during the off season and it isn't that crowded. Although, the pace of pay did slow down toward the end of the round, it was still a good time. I was able to finish before it got dark.
