About
Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia was designed by Greg Norman. It sprawls across 163 lush and secluded acres where golfers will be hard-pressed to find a home anywhere close to the course. Norman carefully utilized the natural terrain, incorporating the meandering creek on several holes and also adding a few holes that venture up the side of a hill. Thanks to the dramatic elevation changes, there are some tees where your ball seems to stay in the air forever. The first nine is more open with a traditional links-style layout that then leads to the more densely wooded back nine. In addition to the trees and other natural hazards, there is also an unusually thick first cut of rough as well as tall stands of native grasses.

Great layout
Course was in great shape . Green were a little due to irration but great place to play
Great Value for a Great Course Layout
This Greg Norman course is one of the best values in the area. Drove 35 miles to play the course and will definitely return. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Course was in great condition and the the value $36.00 was well worth the drive. Would be a great course for a golf outing or tournament.
Great layout / Declining Conditions
This is a great golf course with a challenging layout. We played from the tips and unfortunately some of the tee boxes were in very poor shape. Also, the 11th hole has a few bunkers that it appears as if they are letting nature take them over and the 12th hole needs some serious work on the banks of the creek. All in all, still a nice golf course and a good value.

Challenging course. Nice scenery. Course in good condition, though a couple of tees were a little rough. Overall, a good experience.
Fantastic Course
This is the 7th course I've played this year and by far it's the best yet. Great layout, great upkeep, deceivingly difficult, all around fun, great course. The price seems a little on the high side, but I will definitely be back. Found a new favorite.
Good condition . Course was difficult and made pace of play slower because of lost balls, etc.
Would play again without hesitation.
Perfect Day to Play
Course was in good shape. Greens were a bit dinged up, tee boxes could use some attention. Overall very nice course.
What a golf course should be!!
Elks Run doesn't disappoint! The course is set on a beautiful tract of land and superbly maintained. It provided a challenging, yet, very satisfying day of golf. The club house is beautiful and the staff is friendly. I wish I lived closer, I'd play here all the time!
Slow 4 some would not let anyone play through
There was a slow 4 some that would not let anyone play through so we had a bit of a backup never saw a ranger all day out on the course. Otherwise a very enjoyable round.
Pace of play
How can a round take almost 6 hours to play ? Marshalls need to do a better job of getting players to play faster. Outings should start earlier and would be nice to know ahead of time

Great aesthetics on a large property. The elevation changes make for very pleasant scenery. Definitely a must-play course when visiting Cincinnati.
Great value At Elks Run
Lucky to have this fine public course in area. Course in excellent condition. Some bunkers need a bit more sand but had hard rains last week and I believe grounds crew will take care of.
The Challenge
This is an excellent course for all golfers and is very well maintained.
The holes are challenging and fair. 4 tee boxes to choose from to suit anyone's game.
Very friendly staff
The course itself was in great condition the staff was courteous and friendly from the starter to the folks in the lounge . I have always enjoyed playing Elks run I just wish it was closer to Crescent Springs so that I could play there more often
Course Needs some work
Wet March, but the course needs some attention. Front 9 and Back 9 greens were running different speeds, back looked like it had been top dressed a week or so ago. Zero water coolers on course. Pace of play was awful, 5:45 for 18. There was a JR event prior to tee time, surprised course was not in better condition and no water coolers out
Scenic with an excellent course design
Each hole is unique with varying degrees of difficulty. Well maintained and offers a tournament brand of play at an affordable price.
