Please read the reviews before making your decision! I am not a picky person, but I was very disappointed when I played here. Teeing ground, fairways are poorly maintained, The absolute worst condition EVER! It felt like the course had been abandoned. Layout was beautiful but personally, despite the cheap $$ I would never play there again. Staffs were very friendly though but that was about it. If you planned to give it a shot, expect to donate your balls to the woods. Almost impossible to recover once your ball is in the woods.

Bad time to co.e as they had a tournament going on and should have sent a twosome off the back, instead we are stuck behind a group of 14 and skipped 7 of the front 9 then just gave up

Crab grass and terrible greens keep this place from being one of Virginia's top courses. I grew up here and it’s sad to see the shape it’s in now. Although at the same time I love playing here, it’s a great deal and great to learn the game on.

I always enjoy playing here but it seems the course is way behind schedule for recovering from winter conditions. Fairways are still thin, and greens are a mess. Tee boxes are non-existent. Hopefully the recent rains and warm conditions will start to bring it back to life.

Beautiful course with its share of flaws. But it’s great

The conditions are laughable. Not a single tee box has ANY grass. You’re hitting off dirt and sand. Baseball size rocks in the bunkers. Parts of greens completely dead. Just not a lot of grass any where.

The course is in dire need of some love. From the tee boxes, to the fairways to the greens, there wasn't much green. The tee boxes were mostly dirt. The fairways were very hard, and the greens were patchy at best.

The course is carved within a neighborhood, so there are houses at every hole. For me and my game, this is a deal breaker.

The course could be beautiful if it was better taken care of.

Overall the course was ok except none of the tees (I played the whites) had any grass. Had to hit off dirt. No exaggeration

Stay away! I play around 200 rounds a year and this is by far the worst golf course I’ve ever played in my life. Goofy layout with barely any grass anywhere… fairways, greens, or tee boxes were either dirt or just solid rock. And the way the holes are routed don’t reward any good shots. I was frustrated from the first to the last hole. Don’t even know what they can do to make this course enjoyable other than just demolishing everything and starting from scratch. Sorry it was just that bad.

Had a great time checking out this course. Pace of play was excellent. Each hole is by itself - none of the back and forth where you are just playing the hole in reverse at some courses. The holes were challenging, with elevation changes, and great layouts. Bunkers need some work as the sand was inconsistent. Greens and tee boxes are also showing some wear and need attention. It has a driving range, but you can't hit any woods or you will fly out the back of it. Overall, nice course when taken into the value that I got for booking for it.

I have been enjoying a round a week here for the past month or so. I cant wait for the warm weather and the course to get back in tip top shape. The staff is great

, always friendly and pace of play always good. Its a pretty difficult course for someone who does not hit it long and you certainly have to keep it straight but its a fun course to play. The carts are starting to show some wear, but they get the job done.

This course is well maintained, I love all 18 holes to play. They are a bit challengeable . I love it.,

The course was a mess from all of the rain during the week, but it was an enjoyable, fast round. Staff is always friendly, and this particular course always seems to kick my butt. Very narrow and challenging. Will definitely play it again.
