Coyote Creek Golf Club - The Tournament Course

Staff will never let ya know if there greens have been punched.

Really beautiful course with great views and mix of hole style. Very nicely kept up. Pace was smooth.

Bartender was a bit rude and course ranger told us we couldn't have beer on the course even though we bought it there. He let us take it after some coercing.

Always enjoy this playing this course. The front 9 is definitely more challenging with the undulating layout and protected greens. Greens were fast but true so can’t complain about that. Look forward to coming back soon.

Greens are immaculate and very fast. Course is in good condition. Will lose balls do to blind landing areas and protected areas all over. A bit pricey and some of the “members” can be snobby and slow.

Played Tournament Course many times. Never disappointed. Challenging layout.

One of my favorite course in Bay Area. Great design and Very good condition. The only complain I have is that they were closing the course at 6:55pm (when you still can play for 30min). We barely finish since we started at 3pm. Very good pace of play though.

Course was in excellent shape...aside from the weather, play was great.

Very limited tee times unless you're a member. The greens were fantastic and the course is in great shape. Better bring your wind game if you're playing after 10. Overall great course for $78 on golfnow.

This course is fun and well taken care of sometimes, specifically during the pandemic surge of new golfers.

Here is the bad:

I've played there dozens of times. About half of the times I've played I've had to deal with a SLOW pace of play, crazy winds, and bad staff/ no carts.

I'll vent about my most recent round. Showed up 30 minutes early, no carts. Finally took one 10 minutes before tee time that was returned by someone else, no employee there to clean or charge the carts and 8 guys standing around waiting for a cart. I didn't get to warm up. There employees are USELESS. I got to the “Starter” and lost the little yellow receipt they gave me. Starter proceeded to make a huge deal about how we could not go to the tee box without it. I showed him my electronic receipt. Wouldn't look at it. I showed him my golf now app, wouldn't look at it. Asked him to call/use that stupid walkie talkie hanging off his belt to confirm we paid, can't do it I need the receipt. Made me drive the 3 or 4 minutes cart ride each way to get another copy. We are now 10 minutes behind schedule and the hacks in front of us are still not on the first green.

Needless to say the group held us up all day, only could finish 16 holes is 4+ hours. The wind was crazy and making it impossible to judge an distances. We didn't see a single marshal the entire time come by and had go suffer through the group in front of us taking 25 minutes a hole.
