Coyote Creek Golf Club - The Tournament Course

Course was in excellent shape...aside from the weather, play was great.

Very limited tee times unless you're a member. The greens were fantastic and the course is in great shape. Better bring your wind game if you're playing after 10. Overall great course for $78 on golfnow.

This course is fun and well taken care of sometimes, specifically during the pandemic surge of new golfers.

6 times out of 10 this Jack Nicholas course plays well.

Here is the bad:

I've played there dozens of times. About half of the times I've played I've had to deal with a SLOW pace of play, crazy winds, and bad staff/ no carts.

I'll vent about my most recent round. Showed up 30 minutes early, no carts. Finally took one 10 minutes before tee time that was returned by someone else, no employee there to clean or charge the carts and 8 guys standing around waiting for a cart. I didn't get to warm up. There employees are USELESS. I got to the “Starter” and lost the little yellow receipt they gave me. Starter proceeded to make a huge deal about how we could not go to the tee box without it. I showed him my electronic receipt. Wouldn't look at it. I showed him my golf now app, wouldn't look at it. Asked him to call/use that stupid walkie talkie hanging off his belt to confirm we paid, can't do it I need the receipt. Made me drive the 3 or 4 minutes cart ride each way to get another copy. We are now 10 minutes behind schedule and the hacks in front of us are still not on the first green.

Needless to say the group held us up all day, only could finish 16 holes is 4+ hours. The wind was crazy and making it impossible to judge an distances. We didn't see a single marshal the entire time come by and had go suffer through the group in front of us taking 25 minutes a hole.

Great course. I definitely recommend it. Easy to get a cart, check in. Second time golfing tournament course. Course conditions were great

I checked in at 1:20pm for my TeeOff at 1:50pm. I was told that someone will be bringing out clean carts and I can take one. It was almost 1:45 and nobody showed up. I ended up sanitizing a returned cart myself so that I can TeeOff in time. This rush ruined my entire golfing experience as I could not warm up and had to TeeOff cold .

The Tournament Course was great. The holes we lenghty and challanging. The greens were rolling fast and were in great firm condition. Course fairways and rough were kept prestine. Sand was fluffy and not hard packed. Everything about the course was awesome and challanging. Alot of ravines to go over and greens surrounded by huge challanging bunkers. Also fairway bunkers lurking at most driving ranges off the tee. Besides being hit up on by a group behind us. Pace of play was good. Thank you.

Saw this course many times driving by. It’s what I expected, wind. The condition was good but not worth the money to play here.

Given pandemic conditions this was a worthwhile and

late afternoon play is so slow makes it not worth going out.

First time playing the tournament course. Extremely windy day in the morning and was hitting 2 clubs more into the wind on most holes. Enjoyed the course. The greens were slow, playing with a member who also said the greens were so slow today. The layout was good, however was especially a little more wow factor from a JN signature course. Looking forward to playing it again on a non windy day.

Great course, really challenging and kept in great shape. Gotta know your yardages and the nooks and crannies of the course to play to your handicap. Pace of play is horrendous though, played here multiple times as a single or with a friend and I won’t do it again. $70 for a twilight tee time and I’ve never finished a round in less than 4.5 hours. Even as a single or pair. And never seen a Marshall. Not worth it
