Coyote Creek Golf Club Tournament Course
Out standing, top line course, only minor slowdown with Youth-On-Course kids having a great time!!
Fivesomes? Really?
I booked a mid-day tee-time for myself and a couple friends. We get to the tee box and the starter informs us that we are to follow a foursome that is currently on the tee. On the second hole of the Tournament Course we noticed the group in front of us is playing as a fivesome. We gave the group the benefit of the doubt at first but after waiting several times on the front nine for the fivesome to clear out of the way we flagged one of the Marshalls on the way by and mentioned the fivesome ahead of us. The Marshall kind of shrugged it off a little bit and then continued on. As we approached the 10th tee the starter then informed us that, the course allows fivesomes out if they are part of the discount members program there. So let me get this straight, the people getting a discount on their round get to play as a fivesome and the course won't do anything about it when they're holing faster groups back that paid full price? How does that make sense? It doesn't matter if the fivesome is playing a few minutes behind or a half hour behind, if they're going to allow that kind of nonsense out there they should at least make the fivesome let faster groups play through. We ended up waiting on the tee box, in the fairway to hit onto the green on a majority of the holes all while five player took their sweet time in no apparent hurry or concern for the group behind them. Of course why would they care, the golf course obviously doesn't. Fivesomes have absolutely zero place at a golf course that wishes to even pretend they're a nice facility, I can't believe this kind of ridiculousness is considered okay here.
Solid choice
Coyote Tournament course is always a solid choice. The greens were punched 2 months ago and still show evidence of that but still rolled pretty well. It’s great to have carts with GPS as well.
Coyote - Tourny, a nice challenging 18
This time of the year Nov and Dec the wind is not so prevalent, attack the pins to score low. All in all, one of my go to courses.
Punched greens
Greens were punched and sanded approx 3-4 weeks ago and are still healing - not ready for play yet.
No notice the course was air rated, pace was very very slow. Player were hit multiple balls off the tee. Marshal did not help keep pace. It felt like a municipal type of course. Not a tournament quality type of course. Sad to say paying too dollar for a worse experience then Los Lagos. At lease they give a air rated notice. Cinnabar at least some what helps keeps pace and tries to marshal the course.
Ahh way over price
First sanded greens ok no problem still 80 $ really the whole layout was wet why been dry for weeks ? And no marshall not worth the price this place went down hill
Great day over all
Staff was excellent as well as pace of play. Only issue was greens sanded fairly recently. Not bad bur they are know. For fast greens with shuttle breaks. They were ok for sand but slow.
Tournament greens punched/sanded but no warning when booking
It’s inexcusable for a course of this caliber to not notify customers that the greens were punched and sanded one week ago. Neither the Coyote app nor GolfNow had this notification. As of Nov 2, the greens are unplayable. Suggest golfers wait until end of November to play the Tournament course.
Very disappointed that course did not inform the green have been arigated
Love this course!
I’ve played Coyote several times and it never gets old. Practice area is the best in the area, staff is very friendly and the location is wonderful. They recently aerated the greens on the tournament course and I wish they’d discount rounds until the greens are decent, but it is what it is I suppose. Looking forward to plying there again after the sand subsides.
