Coyote Creek Golf Club - The Tournament Course

On the date and time in question, there was heavy rain and lightening but they will not refund my fees. They state there were other golfers on the course. If so, both the course management and those golfers should be held for psychiatric evaluation (5150). DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE!!!

The course is in fantastic condition. The fairways are well maintained, new sand in the bunkers and the greens are rolling pure. Good layout as well.

Course in very good condition except greens are healing after being punched one week ago. Sand traps are in exceptional condition. Driving range is nice but often full. Lunch is a little pricey but food is good and service is good. Overall a very good value.

Greens were punched without advance notice that's why the pace of play was so good

Enjoyed playing the tournament side of this golf course. I found it relatively easy. A good place to play for beginners as well as advanced players. Long hitters will not have a problem here. greens are pretty fast and well maintained.

Great "Hot Deal" price. The greens were plugged and sanded, that was not reflected by an Icon indication, so putting was a challenge. Nice layout and they had just finished putting new sand in the bunkers. The Tee boxes were a little fuzzy, but that is nit-picking. Carts have GPS and are fairly quick.

I will say this, this course has one of the nicest short game area I have seen without it being a private facility. If nothing else go spend a couple hours working on your short game. Long pitches, short chipping, bunker work, this place has it all!

Course was in great shape...staff makes it an extra star!! Bar & food also was great!!

Awesome course, was able to get on due to a very cheap deal, but wish they had notified that the greens were still aerated.

The Tournament course is quite challenging. I played on Sept.16 and the greens had just been punched and sanded, so putting was really a hit and miss proposition. The greens are usually in great shape and will likely get there again in a few weeks. The bunker renovation is both good and bad. The bunkers are mostly smaller, but there is much more sand in them and the sand seems heavy or thick, especially around the edges of the bunkers. Unless you hit your drives 250 yards on the fly, you will be better off playing the white tees. Two of the par 5's (3 and 12) require 200 yards or more of carry for a second shot just to get over a creek. If you lay back short of the creeks, your third shot will be about 200 yards.

Played the course on a Saturday afternoon. A little windy which made some of the par 4 a little more challenging. Course was in great condition, staff was helpful. Will go back.

You really have to know this course to score well. If you are not in the fairway off the tee, layup to avoid the many waste areas.

The fairways and greens are in top condition.
The GPS-feature on the golf carts was the best; especially the touch screen to see yardage to the areas to land your ball, or distance to hazards.

with the wind even long hitters fail to get where you need to be, extremly difficult with the wind conditions, course is beautiful though.

Course was in great shape, greens were excellent. Definitely have to use course management to score well, very challenging course, enjoyed my day!

Drove to coyote creek from central valley in CA. The price was exactly as quoted in Golfnow.com and there were no surprises. Staff in pro shop were friendly and knowledgeable. Course was in great shape, and it was an overall great day ! Can't wait to come back.

This course requires more thinking and planning than any other I've played. If you like the course analysis part of golf, this design will capture your interest.

Nice course, excellent greens. Bunkers are sketchy, not much sand, pretty muddy. Rough was hard to get out of, but most of the time the ball sits up a little. It's just real club grabbing stuff. Fairways are real nice. Greens looked rolled, Putts roll real true.

Jack Nicklaus designed. What more can you say? Very challenging and it can be quite breezy out there
