About
Oak Creek Golf Course in Irvine boasts a course designed by Tom Fazio, who has been hailed as the best modern-day course architect. The layout features tapered fairways and multi-tiered greens that roll perfectly. Several sparkling lakes dot the lush greens landscape as well as a few mature eucalyptus trees, though the course is mostly open. The bulk of the challenges of this golf course are comprised of the bull-nosed carved bunkers that are strategically placed throughout. Vivid vegetation accentuates the course and the city gets more than 300 days of sunshine a year, providing the perfect setting for a round. Oak Creek Golf Course is also popular for its practice facility, which includes 65 natural turf tees, a nine-acre all-terrain landing area, two putting greens, and a large practice bunker. It is one of the most popular practice facilities in southern California.

Unreal deal
Not really sure how I was able to find this course on a GN hot deal for $45, but I jumped on it. Normally, the prices for this course are way overpriced, but I would play here every day for this price. It was a really early tee time so there was no one on the course (which made it better. Course conditions were excellent. Hopefully this will happen to me again soon.

I received 2 rounds of golf from my daughter for this golf club! Everything was first class except for getting a small bucket of balls that was odd as the Gift Certificate was for 80$ and I paid 69$ for the round so why did they not just throw in the small bag of balls???? Weird? I will play there again with the next gift round and see if things have changed?? I still had. Great time!
First time here and I loved it. Great course layout and great fairways and greens. Fast too! I will definitely be coming back. A lil pricy for me but it was worth it! Just need to get some better “craft” beer for the beverage carts!!
Good day with friends
I have always enjoyed the layout at Oak Creek. The greens rolled true and the fairways were pretty tight. There is no rough really in this course. You can putt from off the green on many holes.
The cafe is a good place to start or finish your round. The cart girl came around twice during our round.

Irvine company never disappoints. Course was beautiful.
Slow
This game s one for my OC favs... great layout, crazy slow? 5:10 to all play!!! Course is not in great shape? Seems to be most course in OC right now? No Marshall to live things along, good pairing lots of fun but come guys really.

Great golf course in good condition - fabulous value at $54 !!!!!!!!
Oak Creek
Nice course but pace of play was VERY poor. Need Marshal to control the pace. It took 4HR and 45 minutes to finish the round. For me anything over 4HR :20 min. is NOT enjoyable.
Challenging and Fun Course
Always fun to play Oak Crrek. Every hole is different with greens that have lots of breaks. Nice to play a course that doesn't have any homes along the fairways; For a few hours one feels you're in the country instead of being in the middle of OC.
Great Track, Great Conditions
This is my third time playing this track. First time I played it after waiting many years due to the $180 price tag on the weekends I was like...are you kidding me. They want $180 to play here on the weekends, there's nothing special about this course. Due to those feelings I didn't go back for a couple of years but when I did, I fell in love with it and wanted to join. Every hole sits all by itself, fairways are firm and fast, greens are fast, very sloped and undulating. Is it worth $180, Heck no, but is it a great track worth $110-$120 on the weekends compared to the other local So. Cal OC/LA options out there, Heck yes! The two times I played I paid, $92 on a special Sunday rate they had and earlier this week, $67 on a Wednesday twilight rate at 3 pm on GolfNow. At those rates, it's a GREAT deal. Anything under $100-$90 is well worth it. Very well maintained and I'm pretty picky.
Best Condition in 10 years
Greens were tour-quality. Fairways top-notch and staff was OUTSTANDING. Finally, the multi billion dollar company that owns this course is finally giving us the conditions we would expect from a Tom Fazio designed layout. Better overall layout then Pelican Hill (without the ocean of course) and certainly better value.
Great track
Played by myself and was the first one off the tee in the AM. Little wet at that time but conditions were superb. If you are going to spend a little for a round this is the place to do it.
