About
Oak Creek Golf Course in Irvine boasts a course designed by Tom Fazio, who has been hailed as the best modern-day course architect. The layout features tapered fairways and multi-tiered greens that roll perfectly. Several sparkling lakes dot the lush greens landscape as well as a few mature eucalyptus trees, though the course is mostly open. The bulk of the challenges of this golf course are comprised of the bull-nosed carved bunkers that are strategically placed throughout. Vivid vegetation accentuates the course and the city gets more than 300 days of sunshine a year, providing the perfect setting for a round. Oak Creek Golf Course is also popular for its practice facility, which includes 65 natural turf tees, a nine-acre all-terrain landing area, two putting greens, and a large practice bunker. It is one of the most popular practice facilities in southern California.

Good course but overpriced for current conditions
Wide fairways, greens were sandy, landskeeping needs cleanup pulled weeds were just throw in heaps, no warning of sanded greens.

Great greens and fast. Fairways are wide and makes it fun to play.
Great golf course in Irvine
Honestly it's way pricey to play golf in Qak Creek Irvine with a regular green fee (around $180), but if you find a hot deal chance, don't hesitate to book it at once! The course is perfect to play in great view and great green condition! Overall, this course is really awesome to play.

This course was in great condition the pace of play was fabulous played mid afternoon and was able to finish in under four and a half hours.

Tough Challenge
Tough course but enjoyable. Played 36 that day. Greens were fast and very undulated. Fairways were in great shape. Would not play it all the time due to the steep cost but a good track to play every now and then. Great range and practice area. Will definitely be back to Oak Creek.

Great layout with generous landing areas. Large undulating very fast greens. Scenic Tom Fazio course with exceptional practice facility and friendly staff. A must play if you are in the area

The staff was friendly and took my bag to a cart a drove it around back as I went to check in.......loved the course......in very good condition and pretty tough....but I enjoyed it very much
The Best Golf Course in Irvine
Oak Creek is by far the nicest public golf course in Irvine. Its conveniently located right off the 5 freeway. The grounds were maintained extremely well. Everything from the entrance of the course, the driving range, tee boxes, fairways, greens and rough were all in great condition. The pace of play was the best I have ever encountered on an Orange County golf course; we finished the round in just about 4 hours with 4 golfers. The ranger made sure the pace of play was up to par and all staff members were very friendly and provided helpful tips about the holes prior to our round. The only downside to this course is the price tag. We paid $150 per person for an 8AM tee time on Saturday morning. Other than the greens fees, everything else about this course was great so I would definitely recommend it to any avid golfers in the Orange County area.
3.5 hours for 9 holes
Played this course on March 23rd. Teed off at 1:40 and didn't wrap up the front 9 until almost 5!! Slowest round of my life. Not sure why they flood this course with so many people. I paid for 18 but left after 9. I don't anticipate going back.
