About
Rosedale is a true challenge with its great layout that winds through naturally wooded terrain, verdant environmental preserves and shimmering lakes. Each hole presents a new look and a different challenge. Fairways are beautifully maintained and can be tight. Designed by Ted McAnlis, Rosedale features his trademarks: rolling hills, spacious greens and island tee boxes. There are several holes where you'll feel completely alone among nature's splendor with nothing to disrupt the lush, native flora and fauna. This course will bring out your best and provide the setting for a memorable golf experience.

Superb Course
This course is one of the best I have played on the West Coast of Florida. Tee boxes are pristine, fairways are lush, and greens are excellent. The holes are interesting and can be challenging… in a good way. I love the course. Will play here more times.
Nice course but overpriced
The course was nice but not $120 nice. Excellent practice facilities. Friendly staff, pace of play was on average for a four hour round. Fairways were in decent shape but a little fuzzy. The greens putted very true. The tee boxes were in good shape except for one. It certainly helps to have played the course as some decent shots were negated by unseen water hazards. All in all it was a good day but probably not worth the price.

A great course, but…..
Senior Snowbird from Michigan. Bogey golfer.
I’ve played this course every February for 7 years. Great but challenging layout. Good conditions, actual grass fairways. Practice green and grass range tees. Greens slower than usual this season.
Last year I paid 60 for an early afternoon 1:00 pm t time. Net with taxes and fees. This year, same date, same t time: $122!
With no gps in the cart, the value is dipping sharply.
I know the market is up, but Geeze.
Pretty course, but demanding off the tee
Good course conditions but a steady 10 mph wind increased the challenge on tee shots. We saw the cart girl twice each nine, outstanding! Fairways were in great shape, but a little longer than expected.

tight sporty course
Course was tight especially off the tees, more so on back nine, if you are in play off the tee you have a relatively short track to have some scoring opportunities with mid to low iron approaches. I played as a single with a nice couple from Ottawa Canada and finished in under 4 hours on a Thursday afternoon.. Course was in good not great condition but very playable. Club house is very nice. I recommend the course for the average to good players, not someone prone to spraying the ball!

One of the best in Bradenton/Sarasota. Great condition.

Management mistake
Definitely a 5 star course, but management had a membership scramble go off at 1, then let tee times resume at 1:39. It was too soon and made a 5 hour round with a lot of standing and waiting

Perfect Golf day
The weather was absolutely perfect for a round of golf. The course is in great shape in spite of what other reviews said. The starter, Marti was so much fun and made our experience even better. He arranged for us to play as a twosome and even though the round was really slow, we were happy to wait and enjoy the wildlife and scenery on each hole. Yes, it was a bit pricey but it is the high tourist season so it’s understandable. Overall, a great day of golf for my husband and myself.
Very disorganized
Didn’t get cart till 10 mins after starting time so unable to get to practice range. Staff very unhelpful. Pace of play very slow (4hrs 40 mins). Course conditions good but overall experience not worth the price.

1:39 pm tee time, didn't tee off until 2:10 pm, because they had no available Golf Carts
1:39 pm tee time, didn't tee off until 2:10 pm, because they had no available Golf Carts.
I arrived at 12:40 pm for my 1:39 pm tee time. Because there were no golf carts available I waited around for over an hour. The staff kept telling me that a cart would come soon...NOT! Kind of disappointing for a $110 afternoon greens fee. The club should buy 12 more golf carts!
The course was much greener than most other courses in the area. It is a tight and challenging course. Pace of play was incredibly slow. We finished near sunset after 4 hours 40 minutes.
I'll give Rosedale one more try, but if it is similar, then it will be my last time playing there.
I wish they had a beverage cart out on the course since the pace of play was so slow.

Nice layout
Very slow Play- 5 hours with no Marshall- course looked great and greens were decent.
Hit it straight off the tee
Or you’ll be getting a new ball out of the bag a lot! Lots of water, lots of trees, and lots of fun. Highly recommended!
Nice Course - A Little Pricey
It was our first time at Rosedale.
The course was in good condition, staff was friendly and the weather a little cool.
While we all enjoyed the course, we all felt that it was over-priced by 20-30%.
We are not sure if we will go back.
