Rosedale Golf & Country Club

My wife and played this course for our third time. We both enjoyed the day thoroughly. The course layout is challenging but fair. Greens were fast enough and in good condition. Overall fairway grass was good with a few patchy area. The price was higher than past years but we were pleased that the pace of play was very good and the course not over crowded. Would play again.

The course is very pretty for a Florida course and in very good condition. The course is much too tight with some unexpected water hazards, which make the course less fun to play.

Worse part was bathroom on front nine was down and made it horribly inconvenient. Greens were really hard and you couldn’t hardly stop a ball on them! Narrow tees with trees and vegetation in both sides creating difficult tee shots. Fairways were OK and pace of play was great! We lucked out and never had to wait on anyone! Price was a little high for this course. Would play again with lower price.

First time playing Rosedale. 1:00 tee time on a Wednesday. Pace of play was great. Never waited. Loved the layout. Classic tree lined fairways with plenty of Spanish moss. Fairways in excellent shape. Wish I was a member!

Was warned by others and the reviews about how tight the course is but I "played it forward' as was recommended and it was a great round. Greens were browned out because of the recent frost but were fairly quick and ran true (green is just a colour)

The course does not forgive errant shots but it is fair if you play the course as designed. Being the first time I played it there were some hidden hazards that would be avoided on a second round. It’s a must play in this area. And good value.

This course was beautiful. Immaculately maintained, scenic, and very interesting layout. But for a high handicapper it was sheer torture to play from the blue tees, which at 6300 yards didn’t seem too much to take on. But many of the tee boxes are cannon-barrel style like Spyglass Hill, there are many forced carries, and the entire course is narrow with water or vegetation on both sides. If you are a 15+ handicapper move up to the black tees and you will at least avoid most of the stress & lost balls. If you are not accurate off the tee that may not help either. But if you want an epic tee shot on every hole and don’t mind losing a lot of golf balls, this is the course for you. Pace of play was of course affected by every group looking for a wayward ball.

The course was in great shape especially considering the amount of traffic. I will advise that it is very tight and higher handicap players will struggle. The layout is challenging but fun. I would certainly play again.

On the negative side however, $115 is way too much for this course. Also, asking players to pay for range balls after paying such a steep greens fee is unreasonable.

Course was in good shape, interesting layout and challenging. Restrooms on front and back nine were locked, but no one had told us that. Gentleman in pro shop wasn’t rude, but not friendly either.

Enjoyed play at Rosedale! We were greeted by Mark who did a great job getting us started and cleaning clubs etc. At finish. Great day on a well-maintained, fun to play course

What a great day. The starter let us tee off earlier than our 1:11 tee time. Played all the way around to 17th before we seen anyone. Beautiful day and a beautiful course.
