About
Rosedale is a true challenge with its great layout that winds through naturally wooded terrain, verdant environmental preserves and shimmering lakes. Each hole presents a new look and a different challenge. Fairways are beautifully maintained and can be tight. Designed by Ted McAnlis, Rosedale features his trademarks: rolling hills, spacious greens and island tee boxes. There are several holes where you'll feel completely alone among nature's splendor with nothing to disrupt the lush, native flora and fauna. This course will bring out your best and provide the setting for a memorable golf experience.

Great Shape
Course was in Great shape tee to green. Tee boxes level & green, fairways plush & full, greens in great shape, rolled true & good pace. One of the few courses that have good sand & they were actually raked out. Rough was....well rough...you should get penalized when miss the fairway. All in all, the best conditioned course tee to green in the Month Ive been down here. Rosedale is always a challenge....a tighter course where you have to place your ball. Starter & bag attendants were friendly & welcoming, and the young girl tending bar was very friendly. Still one of my favorites in the Sarasota area!!!
Great course and condition
course was in great shape and the greens rolled true and the fairways were nice
Too narrow for my game
Mostly narrow fairways, landing areas and approaches. Tee boxes needed to be mowed. Fairways and approaches no longer drain all that well after decades of use. Greens were good, not great. Sand traps were in great shape (except no rakes). Pins had foam but so low you still have to pick your ball out. Ball washer still not in use. Got to ride my own cart-that's nice. Layout is fine; nothing exceptional; pretty flat.

The friendliest most professional staff in Manatee and Sarasota county. From the moment arrive , I’m greeted with Mr. Slip may I help you, welcome back, glad to see you. Mike and all the fellas treat me like a member, like a family member.
Then I’m greeted again when I enter the pro shop, Mr Slip, how are you, welcome back, how’ve you been. Matt has a great team including David, Johnathan and Morgan. They’ve made , and continue to make improvements to an already fantastic venue. Fair and challenging, well maintained conditions that only continue to improve. It’s so nice to be treated nicely. I always enjoy myself at Rosedale Golf and Country Club.
Now if I could only convince them to call me Bob !

Saturday Golfing
Course in fantastic shape. The staff was extremely courteous. There were cart staff on the course .... bonus ... A must play if you enjoy a well laid out course. Have played many times and always enjoy playing there.
